Visited the “newly remodeled ” Steve’s Venue. Paid $30 for a ticket to get in. All of the tables outside were reserved so I’m not sure where people were suppose to sit. The ticket charge didn’t include any food or drinks….only a dj playing music. Kinda felt like a “money grab” event. The setting was nice with beautiful people but overall was not my kind of party.

The food was ok but the greens needed to be cooked more ! They had no flavor and mashed potatoes were very stiff!!! The only thing that was good was the chicken wings. I brought 3 dinners and spent $75 to $80 and I won’t go back for something that’s not satisfactory.

This was the first time trying the food since they reopened. I was very disappointed in the meats we ordered the baked turkey leg was dry. The short rib was tough and the greens had a lot of stems. The dressing was ok.

I wasn’t satisfied with the food display, at lunch time it was mostly breakfast out, a few pieces of chicken, and the waitress wasn’t informative when I asked about the food, I surely didn’t want the leftovers that was picked over and almost empty containers.

The food was absolutely horrible. I ordered a fish dinner with 2 sides. Outside of the fact that I paid $18 for it, the fish was cold and tasted like it was previously frozen. The mac and cheese was disastrous, with brown tipped macaroni, like it was re-heated. The only thing that was good was the cabbage. I wont be back!

If I could give the reviews for the UM/MSU tailgate party a zero, I would. This establishment allowed alumni from above schools to have party; however I assume bartenders were from the bar/restaurant. They are scammers, bartenders do not give out itemized receipts so you can see what was ordered. I asked for 1 at 1 bar, never received one because they were busy. Went to a different waitress who gave receipt and gratuity was included! No one ever said that gratuity was included on all bills, and giving out first receipt. Scammers! Also ordered food from downstairs kitchen that only could take cash! $20 dinner at that! But bartenders could use cards! I would not frequent again!
