Drove from Jackson TN because of its amazing food and it was definitely worth the trip. The Tuna Tartar was to die for. The Filet can be cut with a fork. Gelato was awesome. The Lasagna only lasted seconds. Beautifully decorated downtown restaurant. We will be back. Best restaurant in West TN

Would you drive 2 and a half hours to eat lunch? We did… twice. Fresh pasta, great sauces and beautiful tasty salads at a reasonable price is why. However, the wood fired oven pizzas, gnocchi and gelato are another great reason to go to Stell Nera. Don’t forget the cannoli with an espresso. Excellent coffee and well priced. We were excited to have discovered this one of a kind bistro in Paris and went back a week later because we enjoyed it so much. Paris, you are luck to have this caliber experience in your town. Very jealous!

Beautifully furnished. Food was good. Menu is limited, but there are usually several specials. In fact there were too many specials to not be listed somewhere. Portion size and price were on par with the setting and authentic taste of the food.

Absolutely Fantastic. Food is fresh and taste great. They have a meal for $8.00 it is a sandwich, fresh chips, drink and gelato that they make in house and they have pastries to die for.

I’m not sure how this only has 3.5 stars. Most of the fast food joints in this area have that rating. Stella Nera has the most incredible atmosphere, kindest staff, and delicious food bar none. It’s certainly the nicest local restaurant Paris, TN has to offer. The restaurant buys local but also takes care to source ingredients global to protect the authenticity of the dishes they’re serving. I would suggest dressing up a bit as you will feel underdressed by your surroundings if you don’t. Paris TN is lucky to have this little gem right here in our town square. These ratings are disgraceful.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and the food is very good a big plus for Paris but the service is slow. It’s easy to see that the server had little or no previous experience. This was our second visit and things haven’t improved much. I’m willing to give it time because I think it can be something special. Update: (our latest visit) The service has greatly improved.. Second update: We’ve been there several times now and the service is very good . The food has always been top notch easily making this the best dining choice in Paris. Last but not least their Brick Oven pizza is excellent and their buy one get one free on Mondays is fantastic.

i never write bad reviews but I have also never waited so long for food. The place is beautiful and I was excited to eat there however we got there at about 615pm and didn’t leave till 930pm. Apparently there was a large party upstairs but after the waiter said sorry for the wait three times we talked to the manager. She just said there was a lot of people there at once. She gave us two free crepes but I don’t think it was worth it. Food was okay, not worth the wait though.

My wife and kids went today, they had 3 different types of Neapolitan Pizza and a glass of wine. Their bill was under $60. It has a rustic classy atmosphere. Be patient with the staff as some are new to food service plus they are ironing out any kinks. Looking forward to see how this place grows.

The food was amazing. As someone who grew up eating real Italian food, I can tell you this is as authentic as it comes. The homemade pasta was incredible and the gelato was to die for. Top it off with real Italian coffee and you have the best tasting food in town. I was fortunate enough to be given a behind the scenes tour and everything is made from scratch. The staff was wonderful and the atmosphere is second to none. Everything is beautifully decorated. I will definitely be a frequent customer.

That atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice. However, the food was way overpriced for the quality. My food was very bland, except for the peas with prosciutto. There also wasn’t much on the menu for someone with shellfish allergies. Most of all the pastas were off limits for me. It was an okay place to eat, but I would not go back.
