Go here for the home made root beer and stay for the food! Stopped on a whim while passing through. The homemade root beer was amazing! I got Southwest Burger which was spicy and really good! Dad got the mushroom burger that was good as well. My mom’s North woods salad was HUGE and really good she said. Also my wife couldn’t believe how good the taco salad was! I was thoroughly impressed when I didn’t expect it. Also was surprised we were the only ones here in a Monday at 5:45.

Best food in northern Wisconsin. Friendly fast and delicious. I highly recommend the fish dinner. The chicken is awesome too. Those are the two I’ve had so far, but I am certain that their entire menu is great. FRESH NEVER FROZEN!! I almost forgot delicious homemade Root beer.

Never been to this place before and doubt I will ever go back. I ordered soup and salad. My salad had what looked like two beard hairs in it. Needless to say I almost immediately lost my appetite but I LOVE chicken dumpling soup so i wanted to try it. The soup literally had 1 dumpling in it and the rest was broth and what seemed like bottom of the barrel veggies. My boyfriend got the pulled pork and it was cold upon arrival. We did wait about an hour for our food. My daughter got the kids chicken nuggets and they were shaped like dinos which she really liked. The home made root beer was probably the star of the show. Was really good. Service was a little slow, but everyone was very friendly.

This place should get 10 stars. Their food is delicious try the cheese curds but that’s not why my family make a point to go here couple of times during our vacation. We go because of their homemade root beer served in a frosty mug!! After we unload day one of our trip we head over to Steggy’s then conveniently go across the street to grocery store

Quick lunch before heading home. We love the homemade rootbeer. Staff is friendly and even brought water outside for our dog. They have outside seating in the shade so it is nice to eat there when we have the dog then we don’t have to leave him in the car. Food is good burgers and chicken are the specialties but also other sandwiches.

The homemade root beer was really good!!! Unfortunately, there are no free refills. The food was “frozen, thaw, cook-and-serve” style and flavor. Stick with the root beer.
