Google Maps and Yelp would lead you to believe that the nearest places to get food in Steele are 7-8 miles away in Dawson. Not true! The desk clerk at the Cobblestone Inn pointed us to this bar/eatery, which happily serves the general public. (And, FWIW, there are also a Subway and Pizza Hut Express at the gas station across the street from the Cobblestone Inn, plus the Cobblestone Inn has frozen pizzas and the like.)

Only place for sit down meal and only remaining bar in town. Gets busy but they do the best to accommodate you in a timely manner. Don’t get upset with them as they have great food and may seem rushed at times, they appreciate your business!
