What an amazing restaurant!! The owner is right in with the whole team working hard. The fries are the best. Burger is huge and super flavorful. Attentive staff! Prices are spot on. Definitely a new favorite when in Tehachapi!!

My favorite place to visit when I’m in town! Best mimosas ever! I love the New Mexico salad with blackened salmon, the hummus and pita plate is really good too and let me not forget the staff is amazing always GREAT SERVICE !! I am always happy to come here

Me, my wife, and son stopped here for some breakfast. I had an omelet which was delicious. My son had chicken and waffles with country gravey which also was delicious. Wife had a chicken sandwich. We also had fried pickles that where spear cut, pretty tasty. The place had a cozy atmosphere and our waitress was very friendly, courteous, and the service was quick even though they were short staffed and fairly busy. I would definitely eat there again.

Welcoming, excellent food, & exceptional service!! We were looking for gluten free & vegetarian options and Steampunk Cafe had it all! Our server, Kaylie, was so friendly & attentive. Our food was fresh and hot & we all enjoyed! The atmosphere is warm & friendly. Definitely recommend!!

What a find! Tehachapi is not that far from Bakersfield, where I was visiting family, and I had an amazingly good meal. And my companion said his burger was probably the best he’s ever had. The decor is great, too. Of course.

We were just passing through and found the Steampunk Cafe & Grill while searching for places online. We had the Hummus Plate appetizer, the Maple Whiskey Shrimp, and the Vegan burger. First off, the Flatbread from the hummus plate was fresh and hot, it was soooooo good! The sauce the shrimp came in was so delicious my husband was tempted to drink it, and my Vegan burger was on POINT! The service was super friendly and the facility was very clean. I highly recommend trying this place out. We will be back next time we drive through.

One of the best places I’ve ever had breakfast! It’s very rare to get delicious food, reasonable prices, generous portions, a great atmosphere, and friendly staff all at the same place, but this place had it all. I ordered my eggs a specific way, and they got them absolutely spot on. The ingredients were fresh, and the chef was a master. The biscuits and gravy were delicious, the chicken fried steak was one of the best I’ve ever had, and though I initially had reservations about “spinach quinoa” hashbrowns, you never would be able to tell that there was spinach or quinoa there. They were normal and delicious. The toast was fresh, The coffee was good, the waitress was attentive and never failed to give us a refill, and they had flavored creamers, which is always a little special treat for me. I wish I lived in Tehachapi, so I could go here on a weekly basis.
