Though Steam Dumpling has only been open for a few months, today was out third visit. It’s always busy and there’s a wait, albeit usually no more than 15 minutes until you’re seated.

Everything we ordered vastly exceeded expectations! The beef pancake was so fresh with green onions, cucumbers, and cilantro. It also had hoisin inside so it tasted a bit like a Peking duck crepe. The cucumber salad was surprisingly tasty and sesame-y. Our pork pan fried dumplings were so crispy and yummy. But my favorite thing by far was the hand pulled noodles with chili oil. The noodles were so good and chewy and the spice was just right. We will definitely be coming back!

Noodles were very “QQ”. SUPER delicious. Everything we ordered were very good. The lady that served was very pleasant and helpful as one of our diner doesn’t eat spicy, and she said she will ask for them to make it not spicy. It gets quite warm in there due to the fact the store front faces west and it’s Texas summer, so dress accordingly. Go early, cause by 6pm on a Thursday, there was a long wait already. If you want fast service, they are going as fast as they can, so make sure you have time to wait. Will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed the food that we picked up from Steam Dumpling. The scallion pancakes, chicken fried rice and beef and onion dumplings were very good. I also brought home their wonton soup which I have yet to try. My wife tried the soup and said it was quite delicious. She said that the broth was golden and fresh.

This is a new restaurant, and it is near Kroger. It is quite convenient to have a meal after grocery shopping in this area.

My wife came and ate here with a fried prior so we decided to come as a whole family. It was pretty good. The highlight was the beef onion pancake. The outside was crunchy and the inside really flavorful. I think the restaurant was getting ready for mother’s day because they were setting up a bunch of balloons. The wait staff was patient, kind and helpful. We will be back to try out some more dishes.

This location used to be Peking House. The good news is the food here is great. The pancake beef burrito is delicious. The Sichuan cold jello noodles are great! Xiao long bun was a bit too sweet for me. The kids enjoyed the clear broth beef noodles which reminded them of pho. The fried sesame balls was a good way to finish the delicious meal.
