Restaurant is quiet new and clean. It does not have the openness though as it is divided into smaller spaces. Service was good over all but food was average and pricey. Steak was returned to be cooked medium as it was bloody inside. Fish had fishy taste.

Steakhouse Five is an amazing hidden gem! My party had the Lamb Kabobs and the Shrimp Cocktail for appetizers–both were delicious! For our entrees, we had the Pork chop, Rack of Lamb, Salmon, and Center cut Filet Mignon. Definitely give SF5 a try of you’re in town and want a fantastic dinner! (Ask to sit upstairs in the mezzanine, it’s amazing!) HUGE shoutout to our server, Michael, thank-you for excellent service! Also a big thank-you to Sam the General Manager. We will be back!

I hosted a business dinner her for a number of out of town clients. I wanted a local establishment with great food and service. We were seated in a separate dinning area that was nice and quiet. The servers were attentative to our guests needs and all commented about how delicious the food was. I will definitely come back again. Great job everyone!!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Jason A. was our bubbly, friendly, and efficient server. Atmosphere was perfect for dinnertime conversations. The real star was the food. Every single item we ordered was spectacular. Definitely recommend for anyone who values a wonderful dining experience.

We have made steakhouse five a standing date night. We always ask for Jason! He is wonderful, attentive and one of the best servers this restaurant has. He elevates the customer service experience consistently every time we dine there! If you are new to steakhouse five, try it! The food is delicious and I highly recommend the pork chop!!! Don’t forget to ask for Jason!!!!

This was our first time at Steakhouse Five. It was a disappointing experience overall. I ordered the 16oz ribeye, medium. I would say about 7 oz of it was inedible as it was very undercooked and fattier than I would expect. My wife’s situation was far worse. There was a major issue with her meal that required it to go back. It took along time to get her meal replaced. They did provide a salad, which was appreciated, but in my opinion this was insufficient considering the problem. The atmosphere was poor, as we were quite literally two feet away from a very loud table in full on party mode. We expected far better especially considering the price tag.

Yesterday evening my wife and I were in the mood for steak, but we wanted something different and came across Steakhouse Five, for the first time.

Let me preface by saying the food is always excellent and the servers are very good at their jobs. My husband and I have been to steak house 5 four times now and the first three visits were excellent, but last night was a disappointment. We made a 7:15 reservation, and the time was honored but they put us in a back room that seemed as if it was used for conference and work meetings. (Think the same level of disturbance when being sat by the front door or kitchen) Which is ok I guess, but considering the reservation time and price of the menu we were expecting more of an intimate date night dinner. The lights were bright and weren’t dimmed to mood lighting until we were being served dessert and they kept seating parties of ten right next to us. My husband chose to move his seat so people would stop bumping into the back of his chair while he ate and we were half tempted to skip out on dessert as the people in the room with us were EXTREMELY loud. The experience did not seem like much of a date night, but more of an expensive casual dinner. (Which stinks as we aren’t able to land a babysitter often) It may be beneficial for the host to read the room and sit couples further away from large parties as it is obvious why they are there that evening. I’m sure we’ll be back, but now we know to request a certain part of the restaurant.

First time there. Treated a friend, who was visiting from another state, for his birthday. First, the atmosphere was surprisingly bright and open, not what I’d expected for a high-end steak place. More of a “diner” feel than a steakhouse. We had reservations and were seated promptly on arrival. Service was good, informative, and attentive. We started with appetizers, shrimp cocktail and “grilled simply pure sweets sourdough” (which was nothing more than a small loaf of sliced sourdough…something usually complimentary at most steakhouses). The bread was not particularly fresh and the crust was exceptionally hard. The shrimp cocktail was “deconstructed” (a few boiled shrimp tossed about a plate with some greens) unnecessarily, but delivered the expected standard flavors. We each had a shot from the whiskey menu, which was a nice treat. A little disappointed they were out of the Stagg Jr, which showed on the online menu, but we were able to make a suitable substitution. We each ordered entrees, filet with baked potato and horseradish cream sauce and NY strip with brussel sprouts and horseradish cream sauce. He was satisfied with his filet but noted it was not exceptional relative to flavor or preparation. My strip steak was much the same: adequate but nothing special. Also, I realized well into the meal that I’d been given the wrong sauce, but carried on anyway. What they gave me was tasty enough. Both our sides were much the same…pretty average. We also had dessert. He chose the chocolate crème brûlée and I had the “upside stone fruit cake”. He was complimentary of his dessert, and it did look amazing. Mine…meh. A slice of grocery store pound cake with some jam would have probably been more satisfying. In the end, I feel like this place is trying to be something it is not. For the price, the food and atmosphere are lacking. Dropping 4 Benjamins for two dinners, I was expecting an “experience” I did not receive. I’m afraid this’ll be one-and-done for me.

We went to Steakhouse Five for our 3rd Anniversary and had the best dining experience we have ever experienced! Jason, our server was knowledgeable and funny. He went above and beyond to make sure our experience was everything we wanted and more. We never had to ask for anything because he did such an amazing job anticipating our every need. The food was literally the best meal both of us had ever eaten! Our tomato and crab appetizer was phenomenal! My husband said the tomato was so fresh it was like they had picked it right before plating it. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the sauces were to die for! Then the chocolate creme brulee…just WOW! When they found out it was our anniversary they even brought us a champagne toast! It was the perfect evening! We can’t wait to go back and you should definitely try it too! Your taste buds will thank you!
