Never had a bad meal here. The best burger on Disney property and top 5 burgers I’ve ever had and I have had a lot of burgers. The onion rings are also unbelievable with a thick batter coating and a little greasy in a good way. Try the bacon and eggs appetizer, sounds weird with dinner but trust me just try it. My wife enjoyed the salmon, said it was better than a signature restaurant she had the night before. I have eaten about 75% of what’s on the menu and enjoyed everything.

My family went here for breakfast at 9am. I was a tad apprehensive about having breakfast at a steakhouse but man am I glad we did. It was amazing. I ordered just plain pancakes and they were amazing. Celiac daughter got gf Mickey waffles with chocolate chips, powered sugar, and whip cream. She ate 100% of it and loved it. My wife said the grits were definitely a must buy. The food was the best breakfast we’ve had. And decently priced for Disney. Our server Gideon was great. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast. Very kid friendly. Very picky eater friendly.

All around amazing Disney dining experience!! Excellent value, especially for Disney. We tried the Bacon & Egg appetizer and were blown AWAY. The appetizers are delicious and light enough that they do not distract from your main course. I’m not a steak person so I got the french onion soup with asparagus. The french onion soup was amazing- I literally just got back from Paris last week, and I’m surprised to say it, but this was better. Disney doesn’t skimp on the cheese.. see the pics for reference lol. The chic mid century ambience was great and the service was as well. Would absolutely recommend for couples or families!

Steakhouse 71 was fantastic. The service was outstanding, friendly and engaging. The restaurant is very nice with lots of ambiance. The meal was truly one of the best prime rib dinners I’ve ever had. Very good cut, perfectly prepared. The vegetable wellington was outstanding. I really can’t recommend this Disneyworld hidden gem more. Located on the ground floor of the Contemporary Resort.

The steak is well seasoned and pretty good. The “15 layer cake” is supposed to reflect the 15 stories in Bay Lake Towers. The cake is actually 8 stories of cake and 7 stories of icing. I’m not a fan of icing but It’s still tasty. I like to take it to my room and put it in the microwave. It’s not on the mobile order so you’ll have to order it in the bar and get it to go. I think you can also buy the cake in the contempo cafe or something like it.

First time here after the Wave, nice atmosphere! Our server Amy was very helpful, friendly and professional, she made our dinning experience very enjoyable! We enjoyed the 10oz New York Strip and 8oz beef tenderloins. Also had a beverage at the lounge!

Located on the ground floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Steakhouse 71 replaced The Wave, and is named for the year the Contemporary was opened. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I believe the lunch menu stops at 2 and dinner starts at 5.
