First off I drove an hour and 30 minutes south to denver to retry this place, my first experience being thru the drive thru, for a dine in dinner with my family for mothers day. So continuing the review, my first impression of this particular place was offset. The front doors are broken and they have a sign directing you to the side of the building for entrance. Upon stepping into the restaurant the first thing I notice is the floor, my shoes were sticking to the floor and i know it was not my shoes. Furthermore, there was trash and debree all around. Most booth seats were cracked and id say 75% of the tables were dirty. They offer sanitation buckets (The type I’d normally use to clean diners and surfaces in my kitchen, seeing I work food service, myself) with one cloth. Im not sure what solution or company they go through for this chemical but the water was ice cold when I reached my hand in to grab the already stained and soiled towel to clean the only table that was the least dirtiest and could fit my family size. The booth we sat in (A classic corner round booth) was filled with trash and old food and a leg on the booth was broken. Cups were not stocked as well. Bathrooms, oh my goodness the bathrooms. While i understand the bathrooms are a place no employee wants to get stuck cleaning this was a disaster. Trash everywhere, sink absolutely disgusting that i didnt want to wash my hands. Toliets were so gross that i honestly considered going to a gas station over their restroom. The icing on the cake was the fact I observed no staff up front working with food wearing a hat, hair net, or simply having their hair up. Now that thats over with onto the food. While absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked I found the portion underwhelming and quite small. Staff when they decided to talk to us, only when we had started the conversation about needs, were very friendly and helpful. Overall an underwhelming experience and dead end enviroment.

My “bowls” of chili were half full. My chili 5 way was disgusting. My drink had no ice. The burger was good. I’ve been to Steak & Shakes all of the country, they’re usually good. This one was absolutely atrocious.

I was just sitting at this location for 45 minutes, when I asked for the third time about my order the manager (Lisa) came with a receipt and said “here is your money back” very rudely. I made my order at 12:53 there was NO line, I didn’t complain til 20min and was respectful just curious about my order. Once 30min hit it was kinda ridiculous so I asked again, after 40min I prob wasn’t so nice but still respectable than Lisa came with my refund without me asking. That’s 40min from when my order was placed and my food still wasn’t cooked or even started. Idk who has an hour to slender waiting for food but literally this place is beyond horrible and I’ll def never come back . Thanks for your horrible customer service Lisa I’ll be calling corporate

Food is usually good, but this time was different. I waited 30 minutes for no food. Went to the counter at 20 minutes and felt like 10 more minutes should be more than enough time to prioritize my order and get it done. Nope. Didn’t happen. I got a refund, but both manager and worker were completely indifferent. And to think they have an option to tip them… Even 15 minutes is a long time to wait for supposed “fast food.” Won’t be back.

7/16/22-My mom and I were so happy when we saw that there was still one of these around since the one on Countyline road had closed. We were very disappointed in our experience. First, no server takes your order, you have to order at a kiosk. This also means that they don’t have the staff cleaning the tables. You have to clean up after yourself which no one does. This is one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever been in, floor and up. If I was an employee here I would be embarrassed to say I work here and I can imagine how they keep their houses with leaving where they work that dirty. My shoes were even sticking to the floor.The food was also not good. Their five way used to be served on a large plate/bowl, and now the have raised the price and the size is about a quarter of what it used to be. The sauce was so sweet it could nearly be considered a dessert and there were no onions in it. The hamburger was just barely average in taste. Do not eat here if you value your health and I will never go back because the experience was just that bad.

The service is so so so slow. 25-35mins for a single burger combo. That is crazy long. I could have made them so much quicker at home. There was maybe 7 customers total in the restaurant.

Place needs a deep clean. It is gross. Tables are dirty, windows are gross. Floors haven’t been cleaned in forever. Counters need to be wiped down. Just over all looks run down and not taken care of.

Can’t believe I’m writing a review about a fast food joint but I feel like I have to warn people about how awful this place and it’s employees are. During the preparation of my food last night 8/22/23 I (and everyone else in the place) heard the manager tell his employee that he was undercooking the patties and they were all pink/raw. Truly impressive to be able to undercook a patty that is less than a 1/4 inch thick and still somehow allow it to take over 30 minutes for 2 people to get a burger. After hearing this comment and waiting 30 minutes I requested a refund and said we no longer wanted our food and I was met with a terrible sarcastic attitude and a refusal to refund the order. After the wait the food was then served to us nearly ice cold. Once we walked out the guy’s working all sarcastically waved at me behind my back. Employees couldn’t care less, just go anywhere else.

Seriously disappointed. This used to be a great family spot. Now, there is no human interaction. You order yourself on a tablet, they call your name and you come to the counter to get your food. There is no music, all you can hear is employees talking, which makes for an awkward experience.
