Are they still open? It looks like it’s closed when I go there but this place is amazing! Anyone who says otherwise can go eat some nasty McDonald’s.

what a pathetic excuse for a steak and shake. I thought they’d get their stuff together after that several month closure, but no; it still is not good. not only did they not give me one of my items, what they did give me was a sad excuse for a steak and shake meal. extremely disappointed.

Love this place. Wish they had the full menu including the single cheeseburger & birthday cake sheak. Plus, never quite sure about parking, is there a free option for us grownups who come in from the outside world just for a yummy burger & shake? Must admit $2 per trip is considerably less expensive than driving all the way to the next closest Steak n Shake in Kansas City. When we begged them to come here to Nebraska we probably should’ve been more specific for a full retaurant. The photo added is up the stairs at the big red N where you then turn right.

Long wait time but it’s on campus so it’s understandable. Didn’t get anything right on my order. Asked for no pickles and no cheeseboard my burger but they were on the burger I ordered bottled water and the guy rang me in for a soft drink so I had to wait and ask multiple times for my water. Maybe need a better system for pushing out orders or it was just a cashier error when ringing in my order. Food tasted good and was reasonably priced.

Drive all the way from 70th and Adams tonight to finally get some chili 5 ways. I grew up on Steak n Shake in Illinois and I have to say I remember it quite differently. They closed 10 minutes early right in front of my face. Very disappointed in customer service. Make that NO SERVICE! And as I sit here typing this review, I’m watching employees bringing out free food to their friends and taking bags for themselves. I think this complaint is going to stretch beyond local management. I have hoped for the past 35 years for Steak and Shake to come to Lincoln Nebraska. What a disappointment.

All employees standing on their phones. Took 20 minutes to get one shake. Wouldnt take gift cards. Employees rude and disrespectful.

The person at the cash register was not super helpful, but friendly enough. The food was incredibly greasy (steady flow dripping out when first picked up) and not cooked thoroughly. The kitchen staff was talking about how much they didn’t want to be there.

One of the worst Steak N Shake we ever ate at. The menu had very limited selection and the steak burger we had was way over priced then the ones in Missouri. Our Grandson ordered a grilled cheese which they just slapped cheese on a bun and nothing was grilled and the cheese was not melted. Lastly the fries were way over salted. Very disappointed and will not return to the one in Lincoln.

Fries were way too salty, food was extremely subpar (shake was fine), overpriced for the quality of food (we paid $25 for 3 meals) and the 2 of us who actually ate anything ended up with food poisoning! MIGHT come back for a shake, but will not eat their food again!

Didn’t have my food on time, never gave my the side of Chilli Cheese Fries even though I paid for them, and the employees weren’t wearing their masks/had their masks down while preparing my food! Food tastes good, awful service.
