Tried to walk in at 8:15 pm on Sunday night. Doors were locked. People eating inside. Hours were until 9:00 pm. Drove through drive-thru and asked why doors were locked. Manager said they were short-handed, but would take order at drive-thru. Bull!! Seemed to me they were just trying to close up early. Lost my business.

Went through the drive through to order food and sat there forever with no answer, so we went and pulled around to the window and they are crawling around on the floor to try and avoid customers, they finally came to the the window and preceded to tell us that they are closed because they didn’t have anyone for an hour. They should have just been straight forward about it instead of crawling around on the floor and one of them tried to say she was the manager!

Really just sucks. The menu is limited missing tons of items they used to have, and they no longer have waiters bringing you the food and refilling your drinks. What even is this dining model? It doesn’t make sense. Is it like McDonald’s?

Great experience every time. Went inside in a while since the start of covid-19 restaurant restrictions. They are fully operational with safety precautions and everyone wearing masks.

When we visited they were under a boil order. So we could only order shakes. I feel it made our meals more expensive and think we should have gotten a discount. I mean 3 people paid about $60. Not really worth it. The shakes were also in to go cups for that price what happened to the big glasses and extra shake they used to leave you. Food was good but not enough for the price. Left not happy..

My girlfriend and I were in the vicinity and decided to get Steak and Shake. The two of us hardly ever do go to Steak and Shake. We were pleasantly surprised at the price, quality, and speed of the service. Not to mention the girl at the window was accurate, friendly, and encouraged us to return with a smile on her face. We will be back.
