Stopped here on a road trip. The burgers were good, loved the garlic sauce! Price was great and it was clean. It was nice how we could place our own order on the kiosks. Downfall is the fries. We had ordered FOUR combos and ALL the fries were old. Fail. Fries are a huge thing in our family

Typical for a fast food joint. Stopped for a late night milkshake and decided to get a meal. Burger was great. Don’t live the fries. Personally, I don’t like shoe string fries AND the flavor was off, like the oil was bad or something.

Mike, the owner, is an awesome person! The patience and guidance he gives the youth who work for him is very inspiring. The team works hard to keep a clean restaurant, speedy and accurate service. I miss the old Steak and Shake. You now must order through a Kiosk and pick up food like any fast food restaurant. Food still hot and tasty, but atmosphere is terrible. Menu has been pared to basics. The music was loud hip hop junk. There is little service except behind the counter when your order is called. No reason to go back when I can get as good food with better service and atmosphere at same or better price.

This place has really changed. Ordering from a kiosk instead of having your order taken, dirty, unkempt dining area, two sodas not working on the drink machine, and no soap in the men’s room. The fries were chewy, and room temperature. The saving grace was the burger! OMG, was it good! This review would have been MUCH worse otherwise!

The breading on the onion rings was just flour. No seasoning, no salt. just that awful raw flour taste. The chocolate shake had a weird taste, like it had soap it. All kiosks, no person to order from. The kiosk would not allow me to use the remainder of the money on the gift card and then pay the remaining balance with another card. We gave the card to a family of four and they made it work for them on another machine. All the kiosks have different specialties. They forgot my shake and I had to ask for it. The lady helping me acted like she was doing me a big favor, and she just wanted to go home and end it all. The burger was so-so… just ok. The young man who helped us was very nice, and enthusiastic, so he gets 5 stars and a thumbs up!!!
