The restaurant was clean and well stocked. Bathrooms clean. Mar made a delicious peanut butter shake. Jason made the best burgers we have eaten at a Steak n Shake. Plenty of parking with seating inside and out.

I have ordered from this place twice. Both times they have forgot to give me items of food that I paid good money for. Seems malicious at this point. No idea how you’re forgetting items that often. Not only that but the quality of the food has fallen off greatly in the last few years. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. It is not worth it. There are plenty of other options in this area.

The quality of food has increased considerably over the past year. It’s been a long time since I’ve considered S&S to be at the top of the fast food burger charts, but it’s hard to deny when everything is this good!

Gentlemen at drive thru was polite but food was extremely old and microwaved. Very disappointing at least I remember why I hadn’t eaten there In awhile. Don’t waste your time or money

They have gone cashless for inside “dining”. You order using a kiosk and then wait for your name to be called. You pick up your food without so much as a “thank you”. Will NEVER go back nor recommend.

The food quality would be good if they actually brought the orders where they are supposed to. Don’t order doordash or mobile orders here because it will sit in the back an extra 10 minutes until it’s cold

THE worst steak ‘n shake. The food is NOT good anymore. It’s never warm. Ordered this single steak burger… it had the SMALLEST patty on it. No tomato, lettuce or mustard. I asked for everything on it. And as you can see, the cheese is not melted at all. Honestly.. just go for the shakes. Save your money and skip the food.

I’ve always loved Steak N Shake, and after calling to verify that their dining room was finally open, my mom and I were so excited to go eat there tonight. When we arrived, we were rather disheartened to find that they no longer have waitresses, frankly they have hardly any staff at all. You have to order from kiosks, get your own drinks, etc. So we place our order and sit down to wait. While waiting, my mom gets her drink and comes back to the table and tells me there are no lids for the cups. We figured they had just run out and not been restocked yet, and didn’t think much of it. A gig driver (DoorDash, etc.) came in to pick up an order, and while doing so, ordered himself a drink from the kiosk (which all has to be prepaid) and went over to get a drink…but still, no lids. He asked at the counter for one and you would have thought he was robbing them with as much grief as they gave him for trying to get a “to go” cup in the dining room, but they did finally give him one. When our food came out, it was served in plastic baskets all thrown on top of each other (no more plates or silverware, everything is cheap plastic). While we were eating, some family members of one of the employees came in and sat down (they never placed any kind of order), and the two children were given “to go” cups by their relative. Once we finished eating, I went up to the counter to ask for a lid for one of the cups so I could take the rest of my shake with me. The person I asked was the shift manager, Haley Morris, who told me I could use the cups by the drink dispenser. I said, ok, but can you please get me a lid because there aren’t any out here. Ms. Morris stated that those cups didn’t have lids. I asked for a “to go” cup for the rest of my shake, and was begrudgingly given one. I asked for another for my mom, and was told flat out that dining room customers were not allowed to have “to go” cups and that she only gave me the one “to be nice”. I said we paid for our food and drinks, we’d just like to take what we paid for with us. She refused (keep in mind that we are paying customers but the employee’s non-paying kids seem to have access to them…). Ms. Morris was rude and condescending, and actually tried to say that “corporate” told them to do this. I asked her if “corporate” told her to not serve paying customers, treat them poorly, etc., then just smiled and thanked her, by name. If the company doesn’t want dine in customers anymore, they should just close their dining rooms permanently. This current atmosphere is a farce, and I can’t see how they will manage to stay in business treating their customers this way. I tried to call the “tell us about your visit” 800 number posted on their door, and conveniently, you get a recording that states the Steak N Shake offices are “unavailable.”
