Located off of I-275 across from Home Depot and behind BP gas station on Omni-plex drive. Mid-day is a good time to visit this Steak’n Shake. There were very few patrons and the wait for my order was fairly short. This location could benefit from sweeping, mopping and buffing the floors, cleaning the windows, and sprucing up the curb appeal of the restaurant. Just a thorough wipe down. Aside from that, the young lady that took my order was polite and the other employees were busy working meeting the needs of the customers.

Disappointed once again. Our waitress took our order at 10:08am, received food at 10:58am. Only 1 of 3 tables in the restaurant. Room temperature orange juice, & ice cold coffee…..ICE cold coffee (we ordered hot coffee) LOL, was these coffee pot even on? The waitress didn’t even notice. What? Seriously? This is our 3rd experience like this in a row at this location & multiple times at other Steak & Shakes. Wow. We’re officially done with this chain of restaurants. Get it together. We’re going elsewhere. Good grief.

After drinking 3/4 of my shake, something came up thru my straw, and stuck on my tongue…I immediately escaped my tongue to see what it was, thinking it was a piece of plastic. NO!!!! it was a human fingernail! I got so sick. It was dirty and gross. When I contacted the restaurant, manager was very nice, wanted the finger nail, to turn over to their risk management team. She then offered 3/$5.00 gift certificates. Ummm no thank you!

Started out great. Seated quickly. The person at the table next to us fell in the wet floor and not one employee noticed. After 30 minutes of waiting on our food and seeing people came in after us finish their meals and leave. We saw our server questioning the kitchen about the food. They had obviously lost our order. The manger didn’t seemed phased when we asked him to check the wait time…32 minutes. He didn’t seem to think it was long wait and said something about the flow.

I hate to give negative feedback, especially considering how polite and hard working the young people who were working here were diligently attempting to run the restaurant during my most recent visit. However; they were visibly overwhelmed. There was only one other party of 2 patrons in the restaurant when my party of 10 arrived. I enjoyed the food when it was finally served, but preparation was really slow, for a (steak)burger restaurant. 5 members of our party only ordered milkshakes, they were served in about 15-20 minutes, but for those of us whom ordered food, the wait was almost 45 minutes. Also, the bathroom was downright nasty!! It nearly caused me to reconsider my choice of eating at this location. It looked as if a number of people may have gotten sick after eating here. The toilets were badly soiled. It was pretty disgusting. One of the persons in my party actually opted to venture out to use the restroom at the hotel across the street. Another, left the restaurant before their order was ready. After two other parties of 6 or so patrons arrived, I heard a third group, that happened to be a larger party as well, be told that they could be seated, and their orders taken, but there would be “a considerable wait” before they would be served. They left. I wish I had been advised the same, and given that option. I do not know if the kitchen may have been short staffed, or what the matter may have been, but it wasn’t my favorite Steak n’ Shake experience.

Awful service! Dinning room was closed just after midnight on the weekend. Drive through was slow then they forgot the food. Told me to pull up and never brought my food out. After finishing my shake I backed up to the window where I was ignored an additional 10 minutes before someone finally asked if I had ordered something. She seemed genuinely concerned about my situation but she was the only one. I was at the restaurant for no less than 45 minutes!

We went late at night, of course. There was only 1 server working the entire floor and she was completely stressed, but we were in no hurry so we ordered anyways. The food did not take as long as we thought, also the waitress was friendly for as stressed as she seemed. The food was just as ordered and tasted great. Thanks

Maybe it was the time of day, but the fastest Steak and Shake ice ever been to. The food was incredible for only being 3.99. Staff was very nice. Older location that’s seen better days, but dining room was clean and tidy. Will definitely be going back!
