New owners have “nearly” restored this location to its former glory from many years ago. Quality and friendly service, hot food, and reasonable prices. Taking away the more traditional sit-down experience really has allowed this place to improve efficiency while spending more time focusing the quality of the food. Highly recommend!

The food was delicious. I just don’t like how you have to order at a kiosk. They only had 2 menus to look at. Otherwise, you have to stand up at the kiosk to look at one. My mom is not in the best health and that was difficult for her.

Honestly amazing service. I am so glad I stopped in and got dinner here! Not only was the service super fast and fresh but the young men working the store were kind and helpful and checked up on us while dining and CLEANING and I mean making sure the booths are really wiped down. The attention to cleanliness and their customers is outstanding, very satisfied! Will definitely be back

I am super impressed with how this restaurant has turned around! We tried out the renovated dining room and everything was great. The employees were so kind and offered wonderful service. We liked the self-serve ordering kiosk option, which was easy to use and the food came out pretty quickly. After having really terrible experiences at this location under the old management, we decided to give them another shot, and I’m happy we did! This is a nice alternative to fast food and a good experience. We will be back!

Returned for the first time since they brought back the chicken tenders. Dining room is open but they no longer have servers, you order yourself at the kiosks which is unfortunate but on par with the changing times. Chicken tenders seemed to be made differently but were the same great taste. Glad they brought them back

Where to start. There are no employees, so once your blocked in the drive thru…your pretty much in for the long haul. One of the workers knew a customer, so they took it upon themselves to chit- chat and prolong everyone waiting in their vehicles for their orders ( she even took down a sign for the emoloyee- don’t try to figure it out). I received my shake with a hole in the cup. Yep, it was all over me. Garlic cheeseburger was average. My son’s lunch was okay- he enjoyed the cotton candy shake, and his cheeseburger was not made how he wanted it (just lettuce and cheese, nothing else, but this must be too hard to accomplish). It’s better if they just close down until they can open the dining room and staff the kitchen/cook/prep area. I wouldn’t recommend going there. My story was matched by another individual, who lives in the area. Yes, it was not positive.

Went to Steak and Shake to try them again… Was not crowded and our order was served in a short time… Milkshakes came a little late, probably shorthanded but that is the world we live in now. Food was good and fairly priced. Would go back again.

We are from out of town and although it looked like the place was closed we pulled into the parking lot and attempted to walk in. As soon as we walked in, the place smelt clean. As the other reviews had said, there literally is no one working. We order our food and it came out in a timely manner and exactly what we ordered. The three people working we came in contact with were very friendly. A lady that was walking around cleaning walked over and talked for a little bit to check on us. Ends up she and her husband are the new owners of that steak and shake. Just like all other places, you just can’t find people to work. Although they don’t have the best reviews, I feel this place should be given a chance. She is very excited to get the community back in the doors and I hope it works out well for them.
