Solid brisket platter, price point seemed expensive at first but it was a LOT of brisket. As I dug in, I noticed some very old looking brisket which I did not eat but was probably fine. It just didn’t look appetizing, only one piece though. Great smoke flavor and juicy, I’ll be back. Onion rings are fantastic and the service was great. The spicy BBQ sauce is highly recommended as it’s not overly spicy.

Had about an hour to spare before our Trace Tour so we headed over to Staxx. Great little lunch stop. I really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich with Cole slaw. Not too pricey and quick. What’s there not to enjoy?

I HAVE THE PLATE W/ 1 SIDE [brisket and Cole slaw and pulled pork and French fries). Come with beverages and bread ( toast or corn bread), well the pulled pork was excellent and the brisket was so so, each plate was brisket 12.99 pork 9.99 .

One word to describe the food. Dry. The pulled pork, brisket, corn bread and ribs were very dry. I have had dry rub bbq at many places but this was as if they left them out under a heat lamp all day.

Just ok the wings were good and the hot barbecue sauce was the best thing. I ordered the turkey dinner with sweet potato fries, they were good but the turkey was dry and chopped instead of sliced.

Service was excellent and quick. The food was awesome and I reccomend going back a second and third time because they have so many options. The bbq sauce was superb. I am glad I had a birthday lunch here.

I am in town for business about once a month, and stop here for lunch each time. This place was recommended by some locals and doesn’t disappoint. Great BBQ at reasonable prices. Smoked burger is delicious. Staff are speedy but friendly. I’ll keep coming back!

Great place! We bring our Bourbon Tour passengers from all over the country here and virtually everyone always thanks us for treating them to Staxx BBQ. Love their Brisket and all the different sides. Value is great also. Remember they “rub butts daily” which is their motto plus they are fast and friendly too!

Family of 5 adults and one kid ordered the Staxx big meal. You get a lot of food for less than $40. We stopped by on our way east and really enjoyed the food and it was a great value.
