An impeccable restaurant under the direction of Chef Gregory James. We came here for my wife’s birthday dinner. We were treated to a delightful prix fixe dinner in which every single detail was executed to perfection. This is truly a five star dining experience without the overpriced stuffiness of nearby award winning restaurants. Service was attentive and worthy of special note. The location can only be described as idyllic and breathtaking. A perfect evening indeed!

The breakfast was unimpressive, honestly I’d recommend walking into town instead. The coffee was outright not good, and the food both days was just okay. I would be giving the place a 4 star if not for the second paragraph here. If you’re staying here and looking for breakfast, head over to The Blue Crab or Sprouts instead.

4 stars for service and atmosphere. Our waiter Beau was so friendly, polite and provided great service. The outdoor patio is beautiful and picturesque – a great place to enjoy a nice meal and a glass of wine. We each ordered the flounder sandwich on brioche bun; our only complaint is the fish should be larger or the bun should be smaller! Great presentation and sides (salad and fries).

Picked up food off of the Purser’s Pub menu to go for dinner. There is nothing like Chef Ken MacDonald’s 4 star food especially if you can turn it into a picnic with someone special. We had the pork chop which was AMAZING, the highly recommended steak sandwich, and fries. Our eyes were larger than our stomach.

Outstanding fine dining experience. The food was delicious. Great small dishes surprises between courses. They’re very fast on bringing the food after your order but I didn’t feel rushed. It was just a bit tight in time to drink the wine bottle I wanted.
