I had the pleasure of staying upstairs in the Air B&B above the cafe (wonderful apartment and beautifully furnished). For lunch, I wanted to try Pa’s Pimento Cheese Plate that I saw another reviewer develop an unhealthy relationship with. She wasn’t kidding! Pa’s Pimento Plate and Pa’s Pimento Panini (which my husband got) were both delicious. We both like home-made pimento cheese and I have to say this was the BEST that I have had anywhere. The cheese is grated into small pellets that produce a great texture and the flavors are perfect. The plate comes with fresh toasted bread that is wonderful by itself and a perfect pairing to the pimento cheese. You also get a decent portion size that could be shared by two. I was so sad to have to leave behind half a portion since I had a long drive ahead of me and couldn’t take leftovers home. Seriously – it was agonizing leaving the leftovers behind it was that good!

Consistently delicious. Go-to-place for a panini or salad, both are always fantastic! One of my favorite places to eat fresh and healthily!

A hidden gem in Savannah! First time there for my husband and I, we will be back!! I had the salad special today, greens, chopped beets, banana peppers, feta cheese, Greek olives, it was outstanding! My husband had the Southwest salad, amazing!!! What a wonderful place, friendly staff, nice atmosphere!!! You won’t be disappointed!!

This spot stays very busy so wait times for ordering and getting your food can be long, skip it if you’re in a rush… but otherwise definitely worth the wait! Charming and quirky space with thoughtful service from the attentive owners and staff. The most delicious soups, salads, and sandwiches in town. Goat bomb is the bomb. Very generous portions. A Savannah staple.

My wife and I came here today and didn’t have a good experience. We usually love to come and sit outside twice a month at least because it is a great atmosphere. Today must have been a weird day. We were told it was going to be a 45 minute wait which was a pretty long time for sandwich and salad shop but we decided to give it a go anyway because the food quality is usually on par. Ended up waiting over an hour and at that point we decided to just put everything up for Togo because we had a business meeting. Annoying but whatever. When I got a chance to eat I opened up the foil to see literally TWO slices of bacon for the whole sandwich. The saddest excuse for a BLT. That literally was the tipping point of why I’m even doing this review. Twelve bucks for the sandwich isn’t worth the headache of the time we waited. Super disappointed in the pride taken to prep this. Great example of a Sandwich is still Coffee Deli. More bank for your buck and always consistent

We got the trio platter to provide a light snack for guests while we took pictures after our wedding. All three items were absolutely delicious! The pimento cheese was especially amazing! I think a few guests went beyond “light snack” to full meal because they couldn’t stop eating.

Went to dine in other day. Wasn’t busy at all. Ordered food, left a generous tip on card and sat down. It started to get busy and 3 or 4 groups of people had sat down and 2 groups had gotten their food before me, and one even finished their whole meal. Waited about an hour for a BLT and a salad…. forgot silverware and the chicken on the salad, and had to go back and get it. Rushed everything out. Normally, if I’ve ever had a poor dining experience I’d get maybe a free portion of meal if that is what the server did, or just more of generous hospitality to try and fix it. Normally not one to leave bad reviews. I’m disappointed as I was so stoked to come here after a great experience last time with good food and fast service.

It looks like a house on the outside, yet inside it hides a delicious kitchen, like homemade, food.

The food is good at this place, the service and ordering process is not. You enter the front door and are rudely told to shut the door before you are even through. You then place your order in a cramped hallway and pay and asked to tip before hand. Good bread though.

Delicious food and awesome atmosphere. Had the pimento cheese plate and the Mediterranean Panini but both were too good to photograph before eating so apologies for that. I did manage to snag a photo of the menue because it wasn’t edible. Didn’t expect to find THIS flavor at a house converted to a restaurant in Savannah. Highly recommend
