Defo friendly staff and all the same options as other Starbucks’. As always, it would be nicer for the prices to be lower and stop penny pinching from customer (ie charging for light ice). I do wish there were more healthier options like sugar free white mocha, SF carmel, etc.

On Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 8:30 AM I approached the Starbucks inside of Fred Meyer. My friend ordered a drink while I perused through the tumblers and coffee mugs. Due to January being a big month for birthdays in my family, I chose two items before I was to begin my grocery shopping. As an advocate of reducing, reusing and recycling I placed my two selections into a reusable grocery bag before the Starbucks employee rudely addressed me regarding the aforementioned items. I informed her I still had more shopping to do and would include them in my final checkout. While I continued my grocery shopping, my friend who was eating in the dining area adjacent to the Starbucks informed me that the female employee was speaking about me and implying my intentions were to take the items. I then noticed she was following me throughout the store. I then placed the items back. Perhaps this employee should focus on her ‘career’ instead of acting on instinct and assumptions. Your job is to make coffee, if you were educated or brought attributes to the table then you wouldn’t be grinding up coffee beans and wiping down countertops.

I went in Sunday and a sandwich & drink & paid for it. She started making the drink for the guy ahead me, no worries. I noticed I forgot something, I said I would be right back. I git the item & checked out on my way back to Starbucks. She was helping someone else and hadn’t even started my drink. She was slow and lost and acted like she had never seen me before. The girl made me something that looked like muddy water with ice. I asked for my money and they couldn’t find my order. I had to open my bank app to show the order. The are clueless and slow…

Starbucks specializes in iced milk. I ordered a triple iced caramel machiatto (supposed to be three shots) and I tasted neither espresso or caramel, only milk, even after stirring, the beverage still tasted like milk. Other friends of mine have noticed the same. At other independent coffee stands, three shots gets noticed in a tall or Grande–you can actually taste espresso there. But I am not going to pay $5.23 for ice and milk–not any more. Starbucks idea of a shot is a ridiculous paltry, and it would take much more to be worthwhile. My barista was indifferent and refused to issue a refund, make the drink over or at least add a couple more shots.
