Went in to get my normal $8 iced macchiato and 1. They up charged me for changing the milk from dairy to oat (which they do not do at any other location in San Juan county) and 2. They couldn’t give me my reward points because they don’t have the scanning capability that every other Starbucks has in the world. The barista acted like it was my fault that her location isn’t updated with the times and can’t accommodate their reward members. I requested she try to scan it anyway and with much attitude she quickly swiped the scanner from the holder and clicked the scan button before slamming it back down on the holder. “See, it doesn’t work” she snapped. Well, excuse me for wanting to get my points for an almost $9 CUP OF COFFEE! The rewards are the only thing that makes spending this kind of money on coffee worth it. This is a treat to me. Although I was having a rough morning, and apparently she was too, I decided not to treat myself if I was not going to get the points for it. Customer service goes a long way, and so does accommodation for your reward members. It’s not the barista’s fault that Safeway Starbucks hasn’t updated their scanner to accommodate reward members, but it’s certainly not my fault either. I will not be getting my $9 coffee from this location until they can give me the points for it.

Went Sunday…the woman behind the counter (name tag said Sonja)was incredibly rude. Going to stick with Durango Joe’s.

Sometimes they get it right mostly they get it wrong but one thing you can always count on is the price. It differs from location to location for the exact same thing and sometimes even the same location will switch up the prices from day to day go figure. It’s much more economical to make my own coffee. At least I can get it right ✅

There’s this guy who works there and plays Animal Crossing. He’s so nice and he always makes my Fraps perfect. The other people are nice as well but sometimes my Fraps are too liquidy. Customer service is fast. They also accept food stamps and let you taste samples of a drink (before Covid)

Starbucks are definitely not all the same. This one has always been one of my favorites but I’ll only go there when Jessica or Sonja are working. The new girls don’t know what they’re doing, one of them argued with me about a drink recipe instead of just making it how i told her i like it. Hate the new menu layout, most of the drinks are still available but not listed so you better know what you want.

This Starbucks is located in a Safeway. it is one of the least favorite Starbucks I go to but the staff there are always friendly and helpful. They have been very patient when asking 4 special drinks. However with the technology such as the Starbucks app, they often have problems with it. I think a lot of times they are understaffed and many times they have to run to the back of the store to get supplies so you have to wait for them to come back to serve you.
