This is the Starbucks inside Safeway, not the drive thru location. There is a high turnover at this location and the current staff is very accommodating. Today my barista was Marcela and she was awesome! I used to work here and I know the challenges of working at this particular kiosk. I hope they can retain the current staff as they go above and beyond to get things done here. Shout out to Vanessa, you rock!!! We’ll be sad to not have you here… until then I’ll make sure to frequent the kiosk;)

This is for the location inside Safeway. We showed up a little before 5:40 on June 8th, they close at 6:00. We were informed they had already dumped all their cold brew and iced coffee because “we close in 20 minutes”. When asked if they can make espresso then (something not premade), we were told “it’s almost time to close,” which we took as a no. We then asked what they did have available and in a condescending manner we were told they could make Refreshers (ie, not coffee or espresso of any kind).

I went in around 11am on a weekday and found a few ladies working on training together. They immediately acknowledged me and took my order. I allowed them to make me somewhat of a “custom drink,” citing my exhaustion and trusting they, “knew what I needed”. Lol.

I didn’t catch the baristas name but she was working today (April 30th), I ordered around 12:30pm and she recommended a brown sugar oat milk espresso thing and I just wanted to give her some appreciation and a shout out. First, her recommendation was on point. Second, for someone that seemed to be left hanging with a lot to do by the last employee(s)/shift, her attitude was awesome and she was sweet. She let me try oat milk for the first time ever (I know right) before making my drink, which was so kind.

Not reliable. They close randomly for staff rotations. We were caught in the rotation cycle. Initially they said 15 mins, then 5-10 more mins, then they said still refilling and waiting for staff. In total we waited for 25 mins and left empty handed

Nice starbucks. It has its own parking lot and is located off the main road with plenty of parking. The store was clean with plenty of seats. The staff was friendly and the coffee was good.

Ordered a Java Chip with no coffee and the barista said it would be 10-15 minutes to make . I waited for 10 minutes to be informed again it would be another 15 minutes because she didn’t have anything ready still. Seemed like she just didn’t want to make my drink as she was already cleaning up to close an hour before closing time. Will not be going back.

Today, I felt the most disrespected ever with a Starbucks employee. At 4 pm, I went to order coffee and she said, sorry we are closed. I mentioned that this was the second time in a day I had to step away from Starbucks where they did not have food or coffee to share. I had gone at 10 am and they were out of any sandwiches. It is okay to be out of stuff but the way she was loud and disrespect was never seen before. I have spent a lot of money and traveled everywhere and had Starbucks. Today the lady took the cake for the worst interaction ever. I mentioned to her that the next door Starbucks was also closed.
