There’s literally a Starbucks store not a block down Middle Road from this one. I know it’s pretty much a hackneyed and tired observation at this point, but I still feel compelled to make it. At any rate, I happened to be doing some shopping within the HyVee that contains this Starbucks and decided to stop here for a tea and pastry. Never done this before, but felt compelled to do so today.

Love this starbucks and all the employees, but today, I believe her name was Ellen, made my drink today and when I noticed when she had given me a normal amount of ice I corrected her and told her I asked for light ice nicely and she gave me a dirty look and dumped like 4 ice cubes out and told me it would melt. I asked for light ice to avoid my drink being water downed. The drink that I ordered also wasn’t made properly and was missing ingredients. She also didn’t tell me thank you etc when she handed me my drink either. This isn’t the first time Ellen has given me attitude problems and I understand we all have bad days but it’s frustrating when i’m paying that much for coffee to feel like i’m doing so the wrong by just being in her presence.

I messed up and placed a mobile order for the wrong location. The staff here was so kind and made my order at this location with a smile. This location is always really clean and the staff is consistently friendly. They make my iced lattes amazing every single time.

You could have gotten 5 stars,but the attitude of the server was extremely rude to the customer ahead of me because the man had speach impairment and I felt the need to step up and help him. We should all be respectful of each other, especially when they have any impairment!

Just because you do not want ice does not mean fill it only 1/3 up. (Ice bothers my teeth-like nails on a chalkboard type thing for me.) Even offered to pay large price for small.
