Waiting on line for coffee for a half hour with 3 people working behind the counter and only 3 people ahead of me. Give me a break!

Ever since their staff and management changed, their customer service completely went downhill. They are rude and impatient and go out of their way to do as little as possible. It’s like they intentionally try to make the minimum money they can. If you want to pay with the app or a gift card, or even buy gift cards for that matter, they act like it’s the biggest inconvenience ever, even when they arent busy. I tried to purchase 4 gift cards and they told me it was impossible, they can’t process that many, and they were only trying to help me keep my card from being declined. Granted if this was true, there are many ways this could be solved (pay with cash, use different credit cards, etc) but it was clear they did not even want to make an effort. I went up the road to New Hudson Starbucks and they completed my transaction fast and with a smile.

It amazes me how beautiful a soul is to talk to when you visit that one particular store that will make you feel welcome to come back, over and over again. Yes, most stores give you what you want, but it’s always that person that has that smile and glow of making you feel comfortable, joy, and happiness that makes us come back. I always get that when I come to this particular Starbucks. I wish I got her name, I will kick myself for that, but yes, I will return. And yes, she very good at her job.
