Why there is a Starbucks here in Ingles is besides me. They can’t staff it properly. As a result, you have unqualified baristas making your 6 dollar coffee. The giant Starbucks at I20 isn’t much better either. Better off going to Duncan.

They close at 9, I got there at 850 which I understand is close to closing but they were cleaning up already and said they would only serve refreshers. Personally if they aren’t going to make regular drinks up until close then they need to put that they close at 830 so customers don’t go there for coffee past that time.

They were so awesome. I’m not a fancy coffee drinker and I wasn’t sure if they could make my matcha drink how I wanted. They did. And they even checked to make sure I liked it. Friendly and easy going.

The lack of stars are because of my experience at this location today at 5 PM. The kid on register, I believe his name was Nathan, was FANTASTIC. Super sweet, did everything right and as someone who is a former barista I can confidently say he was doing a great job. HOWEVER. The other gentleman on that shift, who’s name I do not know because of his lack of name tag, was rude, and refused to fix my two drinks that he made incorrectly. I made direct eye contact with him and said “excuse me” and he ignored me. For 10 minutes. I had to wait for the other young man to help me. I will add that Nathan was extremely helpful and is the picture of what Starbucks expects from customer interactions with their baristas. He deserves 3 times the pay, seeing as he was doing 3 jobs at once behind that bar and no one else was pulling their weight. I am extremely disappointed in the experience I had at this location and it is most certainly not the first less than exceptional experience I have had here. Step it up, ingles, or I will take my business down the street to Dunkin or better yet, to Athens to a different grocery store all together. Do better.
