Tried out the new Starbucks in the Harris Teeter at Chestnut Lane. It was 7:45am on 10/13. There were two people in front of me and two people behind me. All who got their drinks before mine. It took 13 minutes to make a misto (coffee + milk). The first barista made it wrong. Dumped it, laughed and went to do something else while I continued to wait. THREE baristas working this morning and I’m not sure any of them knew how to make coffee or provide customer service.

They lady who helped me was very nice, and gave great suggestions for other things to try. My drink was awesome I had a cold mint chip something. Although there was only 1 employee working she was fast and efficient. I would go back to this Starbucks inside the Harris teeter off potters road again, based off my experience.

This Starbucks needs to get their training solidified- until then I will be driving to Sun Valley Starbucks as I have given this one a hand full of opportunities to change since it’s opened. I love Starbucks hip, FAST paced, higher quality, & outgoing/friendly environment they typically offer. Training + staffing is desperately needed at Chestnut Harris Teeter location.

Waited 20 minutes for the girl to show up to make my coffee because yue cashier was new and didn’t know how. When she finally walked over to the counter she stood there talking even after the cashier told her she had two people waiting on coffees. She finally decided to make it and it was wrong, Just coffee and almond milk! I could’ve saved the $4 and made that at home
