Skimping out on the products. If I place a mobile order for a latte, like a Cinn Dolce Latte, then I expect everything to be made in accordance with what the app tells me. This latte was missing toppings (whip & cinnamon), and the guy told me this was intentional for that latte. Not cool! I’m not sure that I trust mobile orders with this establishment anymore. Recommend ordering in person to ensure it’s done properly.

Wanted to order some brownies as a Thank You for our wonderful medical staff at Mercy Hospital. The SB staff acted as if I had declared I was robbing the place. They started acting incredulous, and conferring with each other as if I wasn’t even there. Finally, one of them said they would fill the order, but the items would be frozen. I said, “that’s fine.” The next day I went back, and asked them for the Manager’s business card, which is available in other SB locations. They claimed they didn’t have it. I again asked for the manager’s name, and phone number, and was handed a piece of paper with just a name on it. (For crying out loud!!!) I asked her yet again, ” I said name, and phone number of your manager please! They again huddled behind the counter as if they were getting ready for a football scrimmage, and finally gave me the information I requested. Honestly, these people are one airport short of a runway! Run, and go to the SB, outside of the base. It’s just not worth the hassle!

They get 2 stars for almost never having decaf coffee, which is the only coffee my wife drinks, and for not accepting the QR code for payment through the app. They only take the bar code through the app.

Single handedly one of the slowest and worst managed Starbucks in Maryland. Just because they are on a military installation, with a captive audience does not mean customers just simply have to deal with it. There are numerous errors in preparation of drinks, managing long lines, and prioritizing drink orders. This is a first on first out operation and dramatically slows the pace of fulfillment. That pace would be ok if not for the consistency of errors when drinks are ordered. Almost every hot item with espresso and milk tastes like a latte. The attached photo was my 4 shot espresso today. I suggest you use the SB on 175. The post location my be easy at the PX but the work is far below standard.

Clean, nice, comfortable and friendly. It is what you wouod expect on a military base. Fort Meade is bit of a more quiet, non-TRADOC post so it is smooth…especially in the morning.

Staff is friendly. Always out of everything (no Frapps, no whipped cream, no nitro cold brew..etc) which makes it more difficult to order than it should be. They also don’t accept payment from the Starbucks app.

Very helpful workers and a good atmosphere. When it is open, the seating area has a comfortable feeling to it and it is a welcoming place to relax and study. The seating area is currently closed due to Covid but it should probably be opening back up in the near future.

While the baristas are generally cordial and a couple here are outstanding, at times you will get a flat out rude person in this location. Unfortunately, this morning was one of those times. While ordering our free refill as a Gold Card holder, the person at the register treated us as if we were trying to cheat or steal from them. Starbucks stores on US bases don’t follow the rewards programs the same way as the corporate stores, but we customers don’t keep track of what benefits are being granted today, tomorrow, or next week, and which ones are not. This isn’t the first time we’ve received poor customer service at this location, and unfortunately, we really don’t expect this to be the last time.
