My friend from Mumbai India (southern India) was in Toledo and stayed with me for a few days. So we decided to try this restaurant on a weekday around lunch time. The restaurant was not busy and parking was easy. The wait staff took good care of us. The son of the owners (the Manager) was very friendly to us. Although my friend immediately recognized that the cuisine was from Northern India (the owners are Punjabi), it was very good. In fact, my friend ate every morsel on his plate! I took the balance of mine home and enjoyed Indian food the next day also. I recommend that you give this place a try. I will be back.

Reccomend to my from a bartender in downtown Toledo. Absolutely phenomenal food. Friendly staff and a cute little resturaunt that looks like it is a refurbished 1950’s diner.

Worst Restaurant. I have ordered Chicken Biryani, The chef has no idea what is Biryani. What I got is Rice with frozen chicken, chilli powder and salt. There are no biryani ingredients at all. Definetely not recommend to any food here. Don’t waste your money and Time.

Absolutely love the Star briyani with ‘indian level spicy’. I like flavourful but moist or saucy briyani but its hard to get them that way because most other places have dry briyani and have watered down yoghurt. This was just nice, i didnt even need additional curry. Masala chai had good spice flavour but abit less creamy than what i had before. The server was so cool and very hospitable and helped us with doggy bags since we cant finish them. Portions were big

We have been missing good Indian cooking, and decided to check this out! We loved the atmosphere and the family running the restaurant. The service is warm and attentive. The food was as good as we hoped! We tried the chicken pakora and meat samosas, hubby got the chicken vindaloo (mild) with garlic naan, and I got the chicken mahkni (medium) with cheese naan. The cheesecake we had for dessert may not have been a “traditional” dessert, but Seema (she does catering orders! Contact the restaurant!) made an incredible blueberry parfait cheesecake that we could’ve eaten about 3 more slices of!

Great Indian food. The menu has all of my favorites. The portions are good sized. The waiter was wonderful and the service was appropriately fast for lunch. Can’t wait to go back.

Hands down the BEST, phenomenal food and a super cute quirky vibe! Gotta try the hot sauce- Jesse’s hot sauce is bomb. We travel quite a bit and always seek out Indian food, and this is our fave of anywhere we’ve been, including in Delhi and Jabalpur!

This is my favorite Indian restaurant. It’s three hours away from my home and I’ve been there every time we travel near. So good, best naan, fantastic flavor, love the retro diner plus ornate Indian decor (a great mashup) and Jabber Jaw Jessie hot sauces are not to be missed (and won’t be for at least a little while if you take a bottle or two home. My wife and I love the Pumpkin Punch the most—amazing on vanilla ice cream)
