a little slow on the uptake, needs a trip or two to get the order right. no biggie I’d give then another chance but no more than that. no cheese on the cheeseburger a little soggy spanokopita and the ginger ale should be ginger ale not a coke

The Hicksville diner and the Star diner are pretty much synonymous now that the Hicksville diner went on fire. I would give this diner more than five stars if I could. Food is excellent. People that work there are excellent. Prices are reasonable. A widely varied menu. This place is more than excellent when you are considering a diner to eat!

We were on our way home from a wedding and wanted breakfast. I had a very good lox and onions omelet with home fries and rye toast. My wife had French toast with scrambled eggs and ham. Everything was delicious, came out hot and quickly . If your around, stop here.

Always enjoy going to the diner. Keeping it simple whether its a burger or my favorite Bacon Egg and Cheese on a roll ITS ALL GOOD. Service is EXCELLENT. Definitely feel its a place MORE than worth visiting. STAY SAFE
