Literally the slowest restaurant I’ve ever ordered from. I had to wait 45 minutes for two salads and a sandwhich to be made. Grilled chicken salads, and the chicken in this salad looks like it’s stale. It’s very dry, it’s very inedible. I will never order from here again, and my sandwhich was cold.

This has been a family fav for over 40 years! It has always been a special place with me and my dad! I live 400 miles away now but every time I come to visit family it is understood without question that we will eat here at least once! This place has had the same fantastic manager for 43 years! It’s an older restaurant but holds such great memories! The food is made fresh and there is no better plain steak and cheese plus gravy, mayo and seasoning sub anywhere!

The food was great! It was made quickly and was warm when I received it. Stanlieo’s has a nice diner vibe but to me seemed a little dated. Others may find it nostalgic. Customer service was excellent and there was plenty of seating! I’d definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for sub sandwiches!

My bf and i never been here before and since there were so many reviews we decided to try the kitchen sink. It was really good other than the cheddar cheese just made it pretty salty for me. But I will definitely be coming back to try the steak kabob and a vegetarian style as well. And possibly a side of fried mushroom if I’m hungry enough. The cashier was extremely nice and easy to talk to. I do love the hole in the wall type of restaurants. They always taste so much better then any expensive restaurant I ever been to.

I came by on Monday to grab some lunch. I saw a lot of reviewers saying they didn’t think this place seemed clean, and let me just say that wasn’t my impression at all. It’s definitely kind of a hole in the wall, and older, but that’s NOT the same thing as dirty. The tables were wiped down, the counter free of grime and clutter, menus weren’t sticky, drink machines looked fine to me. So that’s good! The restaurant has an almost sort of a retro feel to it, with an arcade game and lots of sports team paraphernalia.

The end of excellence..I have been eating Stanlios since I was 17 In 1971. The last time I ate here ( about 6 months ago it was still the best with great flavor and the best fried pickle spears in town. Today I received the worst steak sub..meat was dried out and burnt..fried picked were not the fresh crispy spears but round greasy and mushy. I am very sad. They must have new management and new cook. I tossed sandwich a d chips into the trash. The lays chips were the only item worth saving.

I’m still in disbelief that the best Italian cold cut sub sandwich I’ve ever had is from a place in Huntsville, Alabama. But it is, and this was the place that made it! My wife enjoyed her steak and cheese sub as well. Very happy that our family randomly discovered Stanileo’s on Google while visiting the area.

Me & my brother loved trying the Kitchen Sink Sub with Fries & Drinks for our tastes of our experiences & it was all good & our first time to come dine in Stanlieo’s Sub Villa in Huntsville, AL & I also tried the M&M’s Cookie & it was good.

I live in Atlanta now, but I have been going to Stanlieo’s since I was a kid (mid 1980s) and on a recent trip to Huntsville I had to stop in for a Kitchen Sink! Stanlieo’s is still the best sub joint in the world. The Jordan Lane location, which I believe is the original, looks about like it always has with classic arcade games in the dining room and the food is still fantastic. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. If you are passing through Huntsville you owe it to yourself to stop in for a Kitchen Sink or Steak Bomb.
