First time at Stacked & Folder, my wife and I sat at the small bar to have a drink and appetizer. We shared the guacamole and chips at $12.95. It was tasty, but the chips were greasy, like they had been deep fried twice. For a college town restaurant, I think it is a little pricey. If you order only two tacos with rice and beans it will run you from 12.00 most at $16.00 and one at $17.00. Our guacamole and chips were $12.95 and not a huge order. If you want a Kobe Beef burger with one side will run you $17.95 or $18.95. If you don’t mind a regular quarter pound burger $11.95 or $15.95 for two Pattie’s.

Without question the friendliest staff. Their sweet potato fries are unmatched in Evanston why? Because they’re shoestring fries. Simple, thoughtful, but intentional choices to their menu and mythos is why Stacked & Folded should stay on your radar. So we ordered a few special items in the menu and they all tasted good. We ordered spicy food but to our spice levels, it wasn’t as spicy. The wait time was longer than usual but their acknowledgement to it was quite sweet as they provided a certain discount for it.

Always passed by during the summertime and saw their outdoor patio packed. Nice location. Definitely not summertime when I went – It was a cold and wet Saturday afternoon, and not busy. Hummus Panini was ok, comes with one side (I think there were three options). I would be willing to visit again and try another food item on their menu.
