The waitress did a fantastic job! Nice environment, with a rustic feel. The food was very good! The portion sizes were very small. That would be the only downside. Nice dive bar overall.

I went here recently for lunch and ordered burger basket which is a burger and fries. It was decent. I got my food pretty quickly as well. The lady who served me was polite.

The food isn’t bad. I think it really depends on what you order. The southwest wrap isn’t bad, but the amount of ingredients inside the wrap doesn’t seem to fit the $10 I spent to get it. The guy who waited on me was super friendly and had great manners. The older lady, wasn’t very friendly at all. I think if you aren’t a regular or with a regular, you aren’t top priority to her. That’s just my take on it. She seemed fine with everyone else inside. They all do a turn around and stare when you walk through the door.

The Stables is one of the best restaurants in Quincy. It has a great atmosphere and we enjoy eating there as often as we can! My favorite is the Stable Burger and my family loves the taco salad!

(Updated review) Ordered dinner for my husband and boys, and just a side of fried pickles for myself (pov-four months pregnant). I assume they were homemade “pickles” and they weren’t quite pickled; tasted & smelled like cucumbers… and I know this is picky but I do not like cucumbers, only pickles (ha). My husband spoke up for me in hopes I could maybe choose a different appetizer after tasting just 3 fry-shaped “pickles”. The waitress first argued my objection stating they were in fact pickles, encouraged me to keep eating them, and refused any help to resolve the matter. Have not been back and will never recommend. Another place that went downhill after changing hands unfortunately.

My family loves their fish fry! It’s always perfect, tender fluffy white fish(pollock) its lightly fried and never overcooked and great flavor! The staff was super amazing, we did a surprise birthday dinner and they even let us bring a cake in and drop it off beforehand so we could make it a wonderful night full of surprises! The wait staff was attentive and made sure we had all we needed and never went thirsty! Enjoyable family atmosphere and highly recommended!
