Cute local place. We stopped for ice cream – they were out of the first 3 things we tried to order. Vanilla soft serve was good. Strawberry rhubarb ice cream was also good. No indoor seating, but there is a covered area out back. Was going to give 3 stars, but the gal who took our order was extremely friendly and earned the 4th star.

Staff were VERY friendly! 1/4 lb Burgers were very good. The onion rings were awesome, and the shakes were a really nice treat at the end of a long day of driving. Highly recommend.

Need good ice cream? Lots of choices here. Boasted chicken is there specialty. Reasonable prices. If you are at Fort Robinson you will not want to miss coming into Crawford, NE and stop here. Right by their big white rooster!

Loved it! Hometown burgers shakes & Chicken I had a hamburger with shoestring fries that were awesome and a chocolate shake that was perfect. Totally worth the 1 mi detour off the main highway. 3 miles from this place is an absolutely gorgeous former military installation, Fort Robinson with beautiful old restored buildings, now owned by the state and for rent to the public.

The ice cream was delicious and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed the shelter with picnic tables and roof providing shade on a very warm day. We like having the choice of hard ice cream or soft. We usually get hard ice cream. We’ll be back, I’m sure.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! You just don’t find places like this anymore. Great old school style drive up all the way through. No unnecessary pretentious ingredients. Just a simple, fresh and well made burger like it should be. Juicy and not too greasy. They potato wedges were also great. Definitely a winner! Love the outdoor picnic seating as well.
