We tried the lemon mushroom pizza, it was absolutely delicious and possibly the food highlight of our trip. The crust was fluffy with a nice bit of chew, and the flavour combination was amazing. Our SB trip is over but I’m still dreaming of that pizza.

Absolutely the best pizza in SB. Went for the first time this evening and it was SOOOO delicious. Very friendly staff and service. Love this hole in the wall, can’t wait to go back!

Simply unbelievable, great pizza, unfussy and clean dining room, one of the great side street treasures and a perfect escape from the touristy places on State. Go now before the NYtimes finds out Chef Cindy Black has resurfaced. Soon you won’t be able to get through the door. We had the pepperoni and a mushroom one, addictive is an understatement. Its been two days and I am still haunted by the crust. Took it home and the reheated version was still better than most fresh pizzas out there.

Really good pizza, crust was amazing. Seems like they are in soft launch mode, some things on the menu (or flyer menu) not available and told we would have to wait a long time for the deep dish (order ahead next time she said); beer taps not working, no ice – small stuff but important in the competitive SB market. Great local Pinot at a fair price, kinda cool, funky vibe next to the Wildcat.

Super yummy pizza with a good $ to portion ratio. Great atmosphere, especially the Mortal Kombat cabinet, super fun with friends to chill and have a good slice of pizza. The girl who was working the front was also super nice and welcoming!

Overall: High attention to detail, quality ingredients, surprisingly low price. We had a perfect margherita pizza with fresh basil. There were whole cloves of roasted garlic, halved cherry tomatoes, and lots of high quality cheese. The sourdough crust was nicely done. We also had a salad with thinly sliced pear, cinnamon coated squash, and a balsamic vinaigrette. They were serving Muni wine when we went, which complemented the meal well. Great ambiance — the manager (owner?) also gave us a bonus square slice of Detroit style pizza, which I recommend. Definitely coming back.

This pizza is killer. My partner and I have tried just about every pizza place in town. The crust is so delicious, mix of sourdough and commercial yeast. The pepperoni is the perfect cup-like crunchy variety. We have told all our friends & fam about this place, going back to try another pizza tonight!

As a native NJ/NYer I’ve spent the last 18 months searching for good pizza in the SB area and now it’s finally here!!! Our party split 4 pizzas and they were all INCREDIBLE. And ask for the extra ranch, so dill-y and savory and different! Love love love this place.

Well crafted pizza and tasty complimentary garlic bread. Good casual but busy for a Sunday night vibe. Highly recommend!!

I never would have thought to try lemon mushroom pizza but on a friend’s recommendation we did. Shockingly great! Do yourself a favor and GET SOME. Crust was also light, crispy, amazing!
