If you’re going to stay here at the Solitude Resort, you must come and dine at St Bernards! Located just inside the Solitude Inn, this place was our top rated dining spot in the entire Village! Every item that we ordered, was incredible. All 3 of us were in agreement of how we felt about this place… and our meals. The environment is very nice but not pompous, a wonderful fireplace burning, a lively bar, a quiet “library bar” off to the side, and very high ceilings with awesome light penetrating in all rooms. Our servers were very friendly and accommodating, while wearing large smiles with every visit to our table. And those portion sizes..lots of leftovers walked back with us to our room. What a wonderful experience and pleasant surprise to finish our perfect day skiing here at Solitude!

This restaurant is so warm and hygge! The food was excellent and the coffee was great. I would go back in a heart beat!

The breakfast buffet at St. Bernards used to be legendary, self-serve skillets full of eggs, potatoes and bacon, along with several other options for a lighter, sweeter, or healthier meal. Now you choose between 1 of 3 options for breakfast, and their “buffet” is limited to a tray of cold bread, a couple of broken toasters, an empty coffee pot, and a bag of granola – all low quality. I’ve never seen a restaurant fall so far, so fast.

Dinner menu was incredible. Food was incredible, atmosphere is cozy, right off the mountain. Prices were shockingly affordable for being a nice restaurant in a premium location. Great service. Note there is a breakfast buffet that is alright in a pinch, but would really recommend sticking to dinner

Bernards has a great atmosphere for a quiet upscale dinner. It is an intimate dining experience. The lamb won the ordering competition for best meal!

Great place if you looking for diarrhea or just an upset stomach. Drink that was ordered has never arrived and perhaps for good. Be aware gratuity is automatically included in the bill but they will ask if you want to leave the tip. Stay away. This place was good years ago but now you will have only disappointment (in best case scenario)

Great food and even better service. Serious props to the ladies that came in when 98% of the mountain was closed due to a massive snow storm and made it possible to get food! They were so positive and helpful, not enough people like them!

Most of the food was good, and a better lunch value than other places on the mountain (much better food and only a little more expensive). My issue was with the stir-fry noodle and veggie bowl that was recommended by the waitress… she recommended adding chicken, which we did. To our surprise, the chicken ended up being a $14 upcharge (in addition to the $15 bowl). I’m used to chicken being $4-7 extra. The additional protein prices weren’t listed (and we should’ve asked) but we were shocked when the check came and it had almost doubled the price… oh, and the $29 bowl also came bathed in way too much teriyaki sauce. Plus my beef stew was basically just beef and carrots (no other veggies to speak of)… tasty beef, but I’d have preferred they actually serve the variety of veggies listed on the menu.

This place has some unique dishes and cocktails. With an excellent staff to boot. Just wish they were open later every day.

The breakfast only has cereal and fruit for $15 now. Used to be $20 for eggs bacon, hash browns, scones, ect.
