I’ve been a fan and a customer for 20+years. They make the most amazing breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! I no longer work in the area, but I drive half hour once every other week to get my favorite sandwich with hot sausage, egg and cheese from this place. Food is great! And the owner is awesome…

Just had the best breakfast at the Dugout! Eggs done just right, great fries and link sausage, he had hot sausage patty delicious! Coffee was fresh and good! Very nice cook/server, too! He was on the ball and we had our food on the table in 5 minutes! We’ll be back!

This place was great. Just exactly what we wanted this morning! Excellent fast service, big portions, and just-right coffee. No frills, but who cares? It has that old diner vibe, and the food is outstanding. The owner came over to say hi when we were leaving, and it just gave us a good feeling for the rest of the day. Places like this are disappearing left and right – let’s not let S&S Dugout be one of them.

I love this place! It’s a little hidden gem on the Post Road in Westport that is famous for its delicious, handmade sausage sandwiches. These have been made according to the same family recipe for over 40 years. Try the delicious milkshakes as well. If there ever was a time to support local family owned restaurants, nows the time!

S&S Dugout is this tiny, little corner building that from the street is hardly noticeable, and only came across it because of word of mouth. Inside you will find an old diner setup that clearly has been the same for a very long time. When you walk in you will be greeted by one of the few employees they have, and likely the owner who is always there behind the counter working.
