The is a great pie! I prefer the Sicilian ‘square’ pizza but you can’t go wrong with the single slice of cheese. I’m not sure I’m on board with the whole ‘water’ thing but this guy can make the hell of a pizza and I’ve come back many times. It would be great if he had another location that was not in the mall. I hate the mall but I understand and hope he get’s ton’s of business because of his location. Please consider another location in town as well.

Finally got to try the best pizza! The owner and employee’s were friendly. They even have water from New York. I tried “the White square” it was fresh and left me wanting more. Can’t wait to go back. Located inside the Park Place mall food court.

Seriously the best pizza. Hands down. The flavor is amazing and crust is crisp but fluffy. I don’t know how he does it. But I really hope he can get a brick in motor store because it will do well outside the mall. Unfortunately some really great restaurants didn’t make it there. Like the Bamboo Club. Squared up pizza definitely has the product of the best guilty pleasure pizza in town. Stop by the mall and get a slice or a square. You won’t regret it.

This is it. This is the best NY slice in Tucson. I’ve been searching for this. The right color, the right dough/cheese/sauce combo. I’ve tried ’em all, NYPD, Empire, Dom’s, Mama’s, 1702, Brooklyn (flop city), No Anchovies, Time, Magpie’s, etc. Some can compare if you BEG them to cook the slices well done. You don’t have to even do that here they just do it right!

First timer here…..one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. They offer a square Sicilian and a traditional hand tossed round…..in both whole pie and by the slice. Not only was the pizza great….but also it’s huge! Easily two or three meals for two people. Also had a order of garlic knots….also very good. Won’t be our last time here.

So I’m another one of the people who follows Dave Portnoy and saw his review of this spot. I had no idea this place existed, and being from across town I’d probably have never known without that exposure. That being said, this certainly lived up to expectations. I came with a coworker and we found the proprietor working the line. We chose our pizzas and asked him to slice them up for us so we could taste a little of each. He enthusiastically obliged. Our round pie had just come out of the oven, and he tossed our Sicilian slices back in the oven to crisp up. I got a water to drink, and they reminded us they use the New York water here. Interestingly, the water powers their soft drinks as well as their pizza. The water was good; it was missing that familiar chlorine essence. We sat down and got into the pizza. The crust is unbelievable. I’d say it stole the show for us. Of course, the cheese and sauce were higher quality than anything we’re used to, but the crust really stood out. The round pie crisp was crispy but not dense, and the Sicilian was dense to perfection. Not undercooked, nor overly doughy. I enjoyed the Sicilian, and my coworker enjoyed the round. We also went in blind on the white pizza, and didn’t realize it had honey on it. It was just a hint of honey too, it didn’t overpower anything. In fact, we had to stop and verbalize, “Does this have honey on it??” It was the best accent to the pie. Not too surgery, but definitely there to be tasted. We will be back eventually, there’s too much here not to try. Great work.
