Great first impression. Little disappointed with the limited selection of bagels available, but we understood. Food was hot & fresh when we received it. The bagels were soft and delicious. We got two “The Standards” – one with pork roll on Rosemary Olive oil bagel & turkey bacon on Egg Salted bagel. We were impressed with the neatness of their sandwiches. The mocha iced coffee & caramel iced latte were smooth coffees to have with our sandwiches. Prices comparable to other gourmet bagel spots: $9 ish for bagel & $7 for coffees. Overall pleased and will be returning.

Stopped at the Cherry Hill location because my daughter loves their Nova Salmon. I decided to try them out. I figured I’d get the Avocado Toast on a sesame bagel. I felt this was a safe choice and you can’t go wrong with avocado toast, right?! Boy was I wrong ! When I came home, I opened up a container that wasn’t what I expected. The avocado spread was chunky & dark indicating it wasn’t fresh. It was bland and lacked flavor. The bagel tasted like 3 day old bagel. They topped it off with red pepper flakes, huge halved cherry tomatoes and drenched the toast with olive oil. I was annoyed that I spent $9 and was not able to enjoy this. My daughter wasn’t too pleased with her Nova Salmon bagel. She said it didn’t have that many salmon pieces in it and it was just ok. I spent about $16 on these bagels and we weren’t pleased the least bit. I should’ve stayed with my decision to not order but glad I didn’t as I won’t be returning to Spread Bagelry. This spot was underwhelming and not what I expected!

If you love traditional bagels, this isn’t the place for you. Spread Bagelry specializes in wood oven bagels. They don’t taste like your traditional NY bagel. They’re pretty dry and dense, and on the harder side. The specialty bagel flavors caught my eye as well as the varying flavors of cream cheeses. We tried the scallion cream cheese and jalopeno lime cream cheese. They were both pretty good, we just couldn’t get past the bagel taste. Also, the coffee was really bad. I believe their espresso made my drink taste really off, but it could’ve been the almond milk they used. Worth a try but we probably wouldn’t come back with their being such other great options in the area.

Came here to check this place out the other day. The store is really clean and open and bright which was nice. The guy at the counter kind of seemed like he couldn’t care less about what was happening and seemed kind of miserable but it was all good. I got the brisket sandwich and it was great! The bagel itself was really nice and was soft. The brisket was really nice and moist and had a nice smoke flavor to it but it tasted like it needed some seasoning. Overall a good experience and I’ll come try it again!

I’ve never had a bad bagel from anywhere until today. i walk in and theres a customer freaking out about hair in food and the employees arguing back, it was not a great first impression but whatever. After it taking 5 minutes for me to be waited on a ordered a toasted rosemary bagel with an extremely thin amount of cream cheese, did not get that. Outside of the worker taking my order seeming oblivious it wasn’t a hard concept. The smothered in cream cheese bagel was hard, dry, VERY SALTY and floury. Waste of money and it took over 10 minutes to get a bagel that was not how I ordered it. Certainly won’t be returning.

If you want to eat fresh bagel, you should definitely stop by. The staff are friendly and interested. The bagel was prepared fresh and with care. It was very well opened in Cherry Hill. I definitely recommend it.

Probably the worst everything bagel I have ever had. I don’t have high expectations for bagels in the South Jersey area, but this was by far the worst I have ever had. Hard as a rock, smallest amount of cream cheese possible, and way over priced. I would rather buy 6 frozen bagels for the same price and actually apply a decent amount of cream cheese. I would probably try this place again if I had gone during the afternoon or late morning, but I was there at 7:30 AM. How do you not have hot, fresh bagels at 7:30 AM?

Idk what people are talking about. First time here today and it was delicious! Even my picky husband agreed! Super cheesy and eggy bacon egg and cheese..could have used a 3rd piece of bacon he says. I had the Ruben with the inside scooped out and dayumn! Onion bagel was great! Blueberry lemon bagel was phenomenal! A NY bagel isn’t the only bagel. Will be back!

The food is delicious. The bad reviews seem to be focused on the length of the service, but these bagels are wood fired, so expect to wait a little longer. Overall, it took us about 10 minutes. This is on par with service over in Philadelphia. The bagels are the best I’ve had in the NJ area. My only compliant is they forgot to add egg to The Cure. But this is minor and I think was because they were rushed. Overall, this place deserves over 4 stars easy. Pretty normal for the Spread and is why you come here, good quality bagels with prime ingredients and the La Colombe Cold Brew.
