Açai (pronounced ah-sigh-EE) is a delicious member of the superfood squad and is best known for being the not-so-secret ingredient in picture-perfect smoothie bowls. But there’s more to these berries than just their good looks. Açai is a good source of fiber, antioxidants, and heart-healthy fats that will improve your skin, help digestion, and offer your immune system an extra boost.

Only one person working during peak lunch hours caused the wait to be ~30 minutes. The bowls are $11-$12 and quite small for the price. They come with a very small amount of açaí, for being açaí bowls. Wouldn’t recommend.

Walked by needing breakfast and my bf has a dairy and egg allergy, so saw the acai bowls and checked it out. Service was absolutely great and she was nice, no problems at all. The place was clean and this bowl the sugabowl – is absolutely delish!!!! The bf made his own bowl and was thankful that my bowl for the spread came out from a squeeze bottle which helps to avoid cross contamination. That helps so much for people with allergies!

The bowls are great! I go to the uptown location. I went in the other day and the guy working had an attitude. Not to mention whoever the girl was working with him was making the bowls and he was literally sitting at the register on his phone. It’s like what happened to customer service? Especially when ordering a 15$ fruit bowl. Do better! Also it’s Sunday and I’m writing this and it shows on Google they are open but no one is answering the phone and it’s not showing up on Uber. Please fix your hours if you aren’t open on sundays.

TRADE ST. LOCATION ONLY- The employees at this location are so rude it’s comical. Live in the area so there are some weeks I eat it daily, love the bowls but it’s like you walk in, they just stare at you, I am very very clear on the modifications, bowl will come out missing items I never said to take off or with an item they don’t come with and for how expensive they are, it’s a bit outrageous. I’ve never really had a problem at the south blvd one and on the rare occasion someone had an attitude, at least they make the bowl right. Another very annoying thing is the hours are always changing …can’t tell u how many times I’ve shleped down there just to b met w locked door ..or someone will “be back in ten minutes”…walked in tonight at 5pm, door was opened, I said hello, que eye roll and mumbled “were closed…” as if I had offended her.

I absolutely love this place! I normally do smoothies in the morning but I wanted to try something a bit more filling this morning so I decided to try Spoons and I’m glad I did!! The woman working there was super nice and friendly. She suggested “The Champ”, which was pretty tasty! If you like nuts, you’ll like it as well.

After reading your reviews, wondering why you only had 3.7 stars, I thought a review for 1 star for the store being closed was not enough to not check it out. As I was entering the store, a woman and her daughter were walking out empty handed. I still walked in and started looking at the menu when I realized the store had a really strong cannabis smell. I looked down to figure out if I wanted to stay and saw that the floor was covered in mashed fruits and what looked like toppings. It looked like it had been there a while and it was disgusting. The 2 employees barely said anything. One finally asked if I wanted anything. The other was sitting on a stool, eating potato chips. My gut told me to get out of there. For the owner: there are limited spots in this area to grab a quick, healthy snack and your shop can attract a lot of business but your shop was dirty and these 2 employees lacked basic professionalism both with customers and the upkeep of the store.
