Spitony’s Pizza has been a family tradition since 1974. It was started by Spiro Chakalos and his brother Tony Harris. Putting their names together wasn’t the only thing they incorporated to make Spitony’s unique and successful. They merged their families into the entire daily operation which continues today, three generations later. We make our crust and sauce in house, fresh every day.

I (unfortunately) drive back and forth between Charlottesville and DC a few times a week and have stopped for lunch/dinner here many times. I love this place! They have great pizza and the atmosphere/staff is great! My Spitony go to is a pepperoni, onion, sausage and pepper pizza.

This little pizza place was recommended to us, so we stopped by for the first time today. What a treat! I ordered cheese pizza and my husband ordered a cheesesteak with fries. Both were fantastic! We left smiling and full. It’s a little bit of a drive for us, but we hope to return soon.

Dine in is a VERY loose term for this pizza place. The guy at the register didn’t seem to have a clue to the answers to our questions. Pizza and The breaded mushrooms were good.

Can’t go wrong with a pie or a sub from this family run spot. Everything is hot, fresh, and delicious. The prices are some of the best around too. If you choose to dine in, be aware the space is on the smaller side but it is clean and has a nice local atmosphere

I love the steak and cheese, pizza, and wings. There’s not usually anyone around when it’s busy to clean the tables. The inside is dated. The entry way gets clogged up and people have to wait to get inside, even when there’s just a few people in line. Get it to go.

Very pleased first timers! My meatball sub was excellent, toasted bread but still soft. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger (not pictured but huge), potato wedges, buffalo wings & the chicken fingers basket. The Men working were friendly and laughing with one another and the customers while they worked & watched the game. Great atmosphere even though it’s not fancy. The reviews speak for themselves. Super happy they came up in my “Restaurants near me” Google search. We’re passing through after a college basketball game. So SAD that this place is no where near where we live! Keep up the outstanding job Spitony’s!!

Absolutely great pizza. This is a small shop with some cute outdoor seating. The pizza is fantastic here. I got the lunch special, absolutely stuffed. The staff were very friendly and nice as well. I’ll definitely be coming back.
