Spike’s Pub and Grub’s Belleville location has been a Tavern since 1910. In 2014 Dan and Rachel Speichinger bought what was then called the Antique House and breathed new life into the well known spot. With home cooked elevated bar food and a welcoming vibe it’s become a hub for a good time and good friends.

We had the absolute worst service tonight. It took over 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were seated at a table. Our drink orders were placed and another 10 minutes goes by only for the waiter to bring us ONE drink that we didn’t even order… ordered food and the window time exceeded 20 minutes. Meanwhile it took 2 additional attempts to bring us the correct drinks. The food finally comes but the kids meal was MIA. We were told “someone at the bar gave it away” and that new chicken strips were dropped and it would only be 2 minutes. Another 15 minutes go by and the waiter just stops coming by and still no kids meal. The manager comes over to tell us that “the waiter disappeared” and they wouldn’t charge us for the kids meal… how nice of them, considering we didn’t even have it until another 5 minutes when they decided to just bring it out in a box along with the bill. We were told the kids meal was never rang in. As my husband and toddler go to leave, the vanishing waiter was outside on his phone smoking a cigarette. Literally the worst experience. We won’t be back anytime soon.

We have take out each Friday ordering the fish plates. Last week a second trip was made cuz the order was.short..new cook. OK This week order had no condiments and the fish was over cooked. Don’t think we’ll be going back for a while

Best wings I’ve ever had in my life! Like seriously these smoked wings had flavor that was unlike any other in the service was so genuine for a small hole in the wall bar late at night they couldn’t have been more sincere about their service to us grabbing to go food! Props guys!
