The owner/chef/waitress/cashier/bus boy/dishwasher was very welcoming and friendly. She wears all the hats here and does a remarkable job. The restaurant was spotless! When we sat down, she turned on some dinner music and brought a couple of heaters to the dining room. We were the only customers. I only have 2 issues. Beautiful, flavorful food should not be covered with cheap canned cheese. A few pennies worth of shredded cheddar would go a long way to improve your presentation and taste. Always serve all guests at the same table at the same time. I had almost finished my meal before my husband was served. There are lots of methods for keeping food warm and plating them at the same time would improve your service. That being said, good food and great service!

The lady working there wasn’t mean but she wasn’t nice either. The one food option was good, however they were out of everything.., no grilled chicken, no steak, no carnitas even though the handwritten menu listed them. It was shredded chicken only. There aren’t a lot of options around there so idk. Oh and this isn’t like a typical Mexican restaurant where you get chips and salsa in fact you pay for chips and it’s extra for salsa..

OK overall. There aren’t many choices in Blue Eye, and this is it for Mexican. Went with my daughter, and she’s a little picky. She liked it, she got a taco salad and it was a standard one, except the lettuce was large pieces. It had refried beans on the bottom. I got an enchilada plate, which included two enchiladas, rice and refried beans. They were out of tomatilla green sauce but replaced with spicy red sauce which was fine.

We had seen posts from this restaurant so while in the area, decided to see what it was all about. We started with stuffed spicy tomatoes as our appetizer. They were delicious, we had the shrimp Chimichangas and chicken tostadas! All was fresh and my bueno!

Great service, yummy food, good atmosphere. Even has a small little play area for kids while they wait for their food. Only one woman working the whole place when we were there, and she was so sweet. Will definitely be coming more often, as we just moved close by. Also there salsa recipe is different than most places around here, but its so good. Better I think.

I am super surprised that there are any good reviews for this place. I would guess that they know not what true Mexican food really is. The fact that there are never any one or more than one there at any time should be a sign.

I forgot to make a review on our visit last summer and was looking at their hours for our upcoming trip next week. The food was delicious and family that manages the place go above and beyond what is to be expected. Our special needs granddaughter was with us and can/will only eat fries with ketchup. They made her French Fries and ran out of ketchup so ran down road to purchase some so not to ruin her experience. All members enjoyed the meals!
