My pizza was the best part !! So very yummy. Got the mediterranean pizza. Appetizer was Honey bbq wings, but they weren’t hot. Seemed like they sat out for a minute. Same for the fries. Didn’t even come to the table warm. Cold fries are gross.

I’m from Columbus, but have lived elsewhere for the past several years. I’m here now visiting family, and decided to stop into one of my old faves for a late lunch. As usual, the service was excellent and the food came out quickly. It was hot and fresh, HOWEVER, the turkey rider was more like a tomato rider. There was hardly any meat on my sandwich, and I was sorely disappointed in my meal for this reason. Again, the service was stellar and the food was hot, but there seems to be no doubt that they are skimping on the meat portion. The last time I was home (about two years ago) I had lunch here and everything was just fine. Maybe today was an off day, but this experience will make me think twice about returning.

Classic piece of Columbus…it’s been here as long as I can remember. Love the Camel Rider, Taco Rider, and CCQ. Service can sometimes be slow during the busy lunch rush, but still great food.

I wanted to visit this restaurant after remembering how good the lasagna was from my previous visit. I ordered take out lasagna, chicken quasadea, and camel rider. Everything was great except for the quasadea. Some of the chicken in the quasadea was old, dry, and unedible. The bell pepper in the quasadea was huge a undercooked. The staff was super nice.

No waiting on Friday night, seated immediately. Our server came quickly to greet us and take our orders. Our orders came out in a reasonable amount of time. The food was hot, fresh, and the portions were generous. I would recommend.

I just left speak easy. At twelve fifteen got seated and the waitress did not waited on me she waited on three of the people and did not even acknowledge me. So I left. That was my first time going there. Is it a white establishment only?

Solid dining experience. Yackeline was very personable and a great host. The Philly cheese steak sandwich and curly fries are some of the best I’ve ever tried. I would really like to see a “Speak Easy” house made lemonade replace the fountain version. Keep up the good work 🙂

So this place has great reviews, and I dont know if we just had a bad experience or if it’s always this way, but man, the food was basic at best.

Classy but needs more servers. 20 people need more than one server. Food great, wait time a bit slow, but we were told no reservations. Sounds like a management problem that can be easily solved! Will be back though!!

Speakeasy used to be fabulous. Now? They keep the phone off the hook so that you can’t place an order by phone, they close for every single holiday, they have started skimping on food. I ordered a club last week- plenty of lettuce- a bit of bacon, a bit of ham, a bit of Turkey…. So basically a mostly lettuce sandwich. I order the chicken strip salad a lot. Sometimes there is a lot of lettuce, sometimes not, sometimes tomatoes and cucumbers, sometimes not. Sometimes a lot of chicken strips, sometimes not. I have been a frequent Speakeasy customer for 35 years, and I’m done with them. I hate it, but they need better management. I’ll go across the street for a salad and if I want a good sandwich I’ll go to Panera or Jason’s. I try really hard to support local restaurants- but I can’t support them anymore.
