Passing through town and I searched online for the best burger around and it led me here – the burger and fries were super good! And the sweet tea was the best I’ve had in a long time. Definitely worth stopping by this small little diner! I loved it here!

Stopped in here with my son after wandering around in the afternoon heat. Great spot for lunch and the lady who served us was very friendly and welcoming. Cheeseburger was very yummy and the old posters on the wall were fun to read while we waited. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick bite and cheery service!

Great little place in downtown Sparta. Service was quick and friendly. The burger and tots were delicious.

Step into 1952 when you enter the Sparta Grill. Look around, soak it in, there aren’t many of these places left. Great hometown service and food done the way it’s supposed to be done. Just the way you order it. This is MY Hometown and I Love it.

Packed full of nostalgia, and the sweetest staff you’ll ever meet! The burger was tasty and the fries were fresh from the fryer. Don’t come here expecting bland $20 hipster chow, or a beer, come here expecting good food in a locally owned friendly establishment.

I absoultely love this place, it is a hole in the wall diner in my opinion. It is a must stop to have one of the best burgers you will have! The woman that cooks and takes orders is such a sweetheart and tells you a story if you ask about the place. It was built in the 50’s and on the wall there is old memorabillia and even has an orginal wanted sign for an outlaw. Food is great and will not disapoint!

Burgers are fantastic. The place is like walking into a diner in 1960.

If you ever go to sparta. The Sparta Grill is definitely a place to check out. It’s the longest running family owned business in the upper cumberland area The staff is great there. The burgers are the best burgers i’ve ever had in my life. It is the best restaurant i’ve ever been too hands down. Should definitely give it a try ♥️

Holy Moly! This place is unbelievable. Three booths and six counter seats. Perfectly short menu and excellent service, thank you Mary! And the prices… fugetaboutit!

We went for lunch on 8/11/22. We each got a burger and split a basket of crinkle cut fries. Burger was $5 and basket of fries was $4. Canned drinks are $1. Food was great and service was friendly. Place is small but lots of history in there (open since the 50’s). Plenty to look at while waiting for your order (which wasn’t too long). They opened at 11 and close at 3pm. Would go there again.
