This place really surprised us. We got off the train and everyone went for the Mexican restaurants in town. We decided to make the very short walk to Sparta. Don’t be turned off by the outside because the food and the owner are both amazing. We were all shocked when the food tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. Whether you’re passing through or just making a train stop, I would recommend taking the extra 10 minutes walk and experience some delicious food from an owner that really cares.

Hole in the wall place that is really good. Got the Gyro plate and some baklava. Much better than was anticipated and I’d definitely go back here.

This will become a regular for us. The food was delicious, the owner is very nice. We had the chicken salad and gyro salad with tzatziki sauce (cucumber sauce), hit the spot. I can’t wait to try the stuffed grape leaves!

Don’t let the outside fool you; the food is very good, the staff is kind, and the prices are fair. The baklava is probably the best I’ve had as of yet.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD!!! the only con is it can sometimes be hard to understand what the employees are saying therefore you might get your order a little wrong like no tomato or whatever. Even though you might not understand what they are saying, they are very friendly and caring people.

Delicious food, freshly prepared as we waited and our party of 4 left delighted with our meals. We had planned on dining somewhere else and fortunately that didn’t work out and we tried this small, unique restaurant. When you go, don’t expect a big dining room, it isn’t there. Do expect exceptionally prepared food by the owner and a friendly smile. So glad we found this place.

I enjoy great food and great service. The owner was very hospitable. My only regret is that it’s not close to where I live otherwise I would eat at this location everyday. I was just passing through and the food was amazing. If I’m ever in the City again I will definitely eat here and I recommend this restaurant to everyone and from what I observed, all of the locals feel the same. I noticed that everyone who walked into the restaurant were regular customers and the owner knew everyone that walked in and he greeted everyone with a warm smile. I would like to say that I appreciate the service and Hospitality that me and my daughter both received. Thank you.
