Definitely a new and interesting experience. The food is good and well balanced. Not your typical pizza bar, they seem to take the care to craft interesting and delicious dishes that feel elegant and upscale. The vibe is definitely after work cozy corporate bar. The drinks are good and flavorful while not being too strong. Staff is nice and helpful. The atmosphere might be different on a weekend but during the week it’s a nice place to grab a drink after work or go on a nice first/second date.

Artsy, clean, comfortable, open space. I ordered the Beat Bobby Flay pizza, and it was incredible. Loved how the cheese melted on the ends, the heat and tang of the cherry peppers, and that it was not too thick. Excellent service; attentive and engaging staff.

Ive been looking forward to checking out Sparrow for months. The concept of a pizza bar in the WEHA center seemed pretty cool (Savoy doesnt count). I really enjoyed the vibes and the cool murals inside. It felt like a cool place you would visit in the city. I ll start by saying the personal pizzas were fire! Perfectly cooked and not burnt like many of your casual pizza spots around here. We need more places catering to the young in the area, so I think its a great addition

I’m normally not a big fan of thin pizza but this place has changed my mind! They have a wide variety of pizzas and appetizers, you can’t really go wrong ordering anything on the menu. They also have a great cocktail and beer menu, tons of locally brewed beers!

I have now been to Sparrow Pizza bar twice in the last week once with my friends and once with my family! Not only was every pizza we had nothing short of outstanding, the crispy cheese on the edges of the crust just melt in your mouth, the pepperoni was delicious and my personal favorite was the cauliflower pizza!! The apps and salads were mouth watering down to every last bite. We also had the french fries, the fried mozzarella and the brussel sprouts. Literally, so good and we can’t wait to go back. Please do not walk, RUN to Sparrow Pizza bar in west hartford center, I promise you will most definitely be a very happy camper… 5 STARS for sure

Sparrow has been a hot, new spot in West Hartford Center, so I was really excited to check it out! I love bar-style pizza, and it’s really nice to have another option for it in CT since restaurants for it are limited. Their pizza is definitely very similar to the local Colony restaurants, but Sparrow has taken it to a new level by making speciality pizzas, adding “drips” like hot honey, and using more premium ingredients. Everything from the drinks, small bites, pizza, and homemade chipwich were fantastic, and our waitress was very attentive as well. It’s no wonder that this place is amazing when they have a Food Network star for a chef! The vibe was modern, yet relaxed, and it was exceptionally clean here too. We will absolutely be back!

Went here twice in the past week, once for lunch and once for dinner. The pizza’s great, and they have some creative varieties to choose from. VERY thin crust, which lets the flavors of the pizza shine and also doesn’t fill you up to much. Atmosphere is cool…it’s a big open space and gets a bit noisy when crowded. Service was excellent…they gave two of our pizzas to another table by mistake, but quickly brought out replacements and then comped them, which was appreciated. Good cocktails and a decent beer selection, although nothing on tap.
