This was a super old school seafood restaurant. The floor was green terrazzo and the place was cooked by a combination of fans and AC. The catfish poboy was crispy fried and not over stuffed at all. The blackened shrimp poboy was well seasoned, spicy but not too much so. This was a great lunch stop along our travels in Southern Louisiana.

My daughter just moved to Thibodaux for work. I came visit and her and I had an early birthday dinner there the Monday night after Mother’s Day. Not familiar with Thibodaux area so we picked randomly. I’m so glad we picked here! Food amazing! Service was even better! We tried several different dishes as we couldn’t make up our mind and we were celebrating. The portions were plenty enough to take home for leftovers. I only took a few pics but look how amazing!

Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. Pictured are Shrimp and grits and Cajun grits that were excellent. Biscuits were buttery and flakey. Also had a Bloody Mary that was really good

I love the monthly desserts. I usually dine at this place for various occasions. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, all are well. For breakfast I get the French bread toast with strawberries it has a name I just can’t ever remember it. Also for lunch I usually do the hamburger poboy/ sandwich. Then dinner blackened chicken pasta. My favorite dessert so far is blueberry bread pudding. The staff are mad sweet.

Love the food. Sometimes service is slow due to the place being packed most of the time. I wish the place had more seating sometimes but it might take away from the charm of it.

I got the bowl of gumbo to go but it was so horrible I barely had any meat or shrimp got more greasy juice than anything! A small dried up cup of rice and the potato salad did not taste good at all, my shrimp po boy was supposed to be overstuffed with jumbo shrimp I had about 4 shrimp on each half, they toasted the bread a little too much and the shrimp had no taste if we were not about to head back home to Texas I would have surely took all that food right back and asked for a refund sorry to say! We had better food when we dined in for the first time eating there a few months ago! The highlight of this visit was Brionne T the young lady who took my order she was very nice and pleasant!

So glad we stopped by! We had the crab stuffed mushroom appetizer, which was delicious. Hubs got the seafood platter (huge), and I got fried shrimp. Everything was fried well, not soggy or mushy. The hushpuppies were great, and I wish I had more of those! And bonus: this was some of the best cocktail sauce I’ve ever had. I wish I had the recipe!

We were in town visiting and came across this great restaurant. I highly recommend checking this place out. Everyone was very nice and the food was outstanding. If we ever make it back out to this part of Louisiana, we will definitely return.

Came highly recommended by locals but the food was bland as was the atmosphere. Service was minimal once seated. Catfish chips are a lot of batter with little fish, poboy was a good portions but blacken shrimp lacked flavor. There were some good comments on the fried crawfish appetizer 7/10. Haven’t eaten the “to go” bread pudding but it looks more like raisen pound cake with a little sauce. We spent our wait time watching a tree roach run from the front to the back of the dining room…sorta puts you off.
