We started back in the Summer of Love. 1969 brought the classic elements of a family business together: two parents with old-world recipes, skills, work ethic and a daughter with a sparkling personality and drive to succeed.
In the years that followed, we worked hard to become one of Newport Beach’s favorite “Neighborhood” restaurants; our guests kindly made us their second home and we gained new friends and family.
As you come in our front door you could be stepping into 1976, the year we remodeled. Our restaurant has prided itself on staying the course where most have changed, what was simply good in 1969 has come in style today: great food and service served by friendly faces in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

My husband & I went here for our Friday date night. I loved the ambiance. Our waiter was great. We got our soup & salad right away but our entrees took a bit. The restaurant was busy but people who came in after us received their main dishes before we did. The food was okay. They were big portions. But the reason we’ll never go back is because my husband got food poisoning.

Good food, huge portions, but not for parties more than 6. Cozy atmosphere, but can get cramped with a big party. Not very busy on weekdays, and only open for dinner, but their minestrone soup and house salad are an amazing add to all dishes. Pricey, but wonderful for a special occasion.
