Without getting in too much into detail. Food was excellent! Everything was on the level you would expect from a sort of fine dining experience. Great selection of cocktails and drinks. Menu changes often so they keep everything fresh and seasonal. Nothing we tried was really disappointing in any way. Steak was cooked perfectly, green beans, just like I like, not overcooked. Oysters were clean and fresh, Murder Point oysters as expected were salty and meaty, clean. Pairing and sides were done very balanced and interesting. Definitely recommended.

We had such a wonderful experience here! The staff are so friendly, the food is to die for, & the atmosphere is nice. Get the Pork belly appetizer, trust me. We will definitely be back & it is now officially one of our favorite places to eat on the Eastern Shore!

Came here for lunch and had a pleasant experience. Inside the restaurant is very clean even though it was busy on a Saturday afternoon. I highly recommend the BBQ shrimp as a appetizer. Had to order more bread b/c the sauce was that tasty. For the main course I got the Filet Medallion cooked medium rare and it was DELICIOUS. I’ve been to other fancy restaurants in NY/NJ that try to serve this same dish for 2x the price and doesn’t do it any justice. For an upscale restaurant the food delivers and the price is very affordable

Absolutely delicious, found this place thanks to Google of local restaurants and glad I did, small but man does it pack flavor, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We started with the Grilled Spanish Octopus which had great flavor, as we tend to get Octopus whenever it is offered on a menu. Next up came our Tomato and fresh mozzarella salad which was delicious. Then we opted for the Eel Lake Oysters ( dozen) which were delicious. Finally she decided on the Swordfish which she seemed to enjoy and I got the Durham Ranch Elk tenderloin which man oh man was it delightful, tender and juicy and the accompaniments that went with it worked so well together. I could eat another one just thinking about it. Definitely gotta try this place out.

Definitely a 10 on 10 experience. You want fine dining with great taste? This is the place to go. We had a guest visit the city and we were looking for a place for dinner. A friend suggested Southwood Kitchen. This was by far a great recommendation. We ordered a few different options of appetizers to share because they all we’re very appealing. The alligator boudain balls were a slam dunk with everyone at the table. Our waiter was fantastic. We asked about the history of the establishment and he informed us this restaurant has been open for about 5 years and that directly across the alley there is a secondary location that is more casual dining. Our main dishes were the ribeye, steak and chicken. Their duck fat potatoes there are no words that can express how incredibly delicious they were. For cocktails we all enjoyed a couple old-fashion’s that definitely hit the spot. As for desserts this restaurant is very smart to save a hidden gem till the end. It’s not advertised on the menu at all and is strategically a great talking point for the staff. So I’ll keep the allure. But I will say try and save room for dessert because it was absolutely worth every last bite.

Another fabulous experience. This is our go-to in Baldwin County for a great dinner out. It’s one of the few restaurants we’ve been to recently where we left feeling like it was worth every penny. Service, atmosphere, presentation and taste all exceed our expectations over & over. I’m hard pressed to choose anyplace else when given the option. Our table had the squash blossom appetizers, beet carpaccio salad, the divers scallops, pork shank and elk. Even the sides were delicious
