I had lunch at the Southwest Grill at San Mateo. The restaurant was clean, staff was nice and there were tons of parking available. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and agua Fresca. The fries were crispy, and the burger was juicy. I do recommend this place.

Burrito was ok. Nothing special. The tombstone burger was good. The menu has gone up. They need to fix it It in Google.

Ordered from here as part of a large catering ordering delivered through ezcater. Food was good but definitely not a standout. Portions are not very large for the price.

My mistake not checking their rating before ordering. Low quality food, overcooked steak which shouldn’t cost more than what you pay in taco bell. Immediately became our dog’s food

fantastic low key place to eat while charging my car! veggie burrito was top notch, great price, lots of food, lovely service. big fan of this spot.

Not amazing but solid Mexican with a few unique twists on standard dishes (using Gorgonzola, sun-dried tomatoes, etc.). The menu also isn’t the endless list you find at most Mexican restaurants. Food always seems hot and fresh (I always get take-out) and is well flavored. Staff has been friendly both when calling in and picking up. One of my go-to places for a low-effort or short-notice dinner.

Unassuming location. Clean too. The Salmon and Prawn burritos made here are excellent. It is good that they scoop some guacamole into the filling.

First time visit at Southwest Grill. The customer service is terrible, unfriendly, rude and very unprofessional cashier. The cashier (lady) was dressed like she just woke up from bed. The cleanliness of this restaurant was disgusting and flies were flying around. I’m never coming here again, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed and confused why it has 5 star reviews. Nothing looks fresh, I saw employees getting yesterday’s left overs and placing it inside a crescor aka heat machine. The meal I purchased was gross and I literally had to throw it away. Ended up at Subway. The burrito was a joke! Looked like a kids burrito literally. My phone was bigger than the burrito. They over charge you!

Although it is a nice location – 20$ for 5ish oz of pork, 1/4 cup of rice and beans is ridiculous. Not a real taqueria

I had not been here in Years, thought about giving them a chance to see if they had improved, but apparently Not, worse than before. Had a Southwest “Steak” burrito. Could not find the steak until the last bite, probably a small taco portion of steak and a whole lot of white rice and black beans. They have OK Salsas and thats why I gave them 2 starts instead of 1.
