Was in the area for an event and the venue offered a coupon deal for this place so I decided to try it. Immediately felt comfortable as staff and customers treat everybody as a regular. Prices were very reasonable and the food was excellent. I had a enchilada plate and it was steaming hot and came with rice and beans on the side. Quality was excellent and the portion size was very good.

We tried this restaurant after our son’s baseball game. We were able to get a table quickly and the service was awesome. The good came out in a timely manner and everything was delicious. We will definitely take a trip back and we highly recommend trying.

We wanted takeout for a family reunion. S.C. had a great takeout menu for groups, from which we ordered in mid-afternoon; it was ready for pickup at 6pm, and was nicely packed in containers which made it easy to keep food warm in a low oven. Since all of the family had spent most or much of their lives in Texas, we wondered whether they’d be satisfied with foods they could get in abundance at home. No need for worry! They declared that the salsa was better than the best they’d had at home, ever. Once that important issue was resolved, everything disappeared in a flash.

Excellent food and service. We’ve eaten there and have gotten take out several times and the food is always great. Margaritas are awesome too. I would highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere, a good lunch. The chili and corn bread was excellent. Also crispy chicken sandwich was unique. The chicken had a nice crunch without all the normal deep fried crust. Large and refreshing salads, this is a good stop off while visiting Ridgefield CT.

Have had their salads for take out before but never ate in. It was excellent and the staff was great. They even gave me a small blanket for my bad back. I took home a Caritas tacos for dinner which was excellent!! Oh the cornbread is delish. Everything was very fresh.

Started with 9 stale chips and canned salsa in a childs portion paper bowl for 4 people. Bland, absolutely no seasoning on the shredded pork or the chicken burrito. The salmon had to go back because it was raw. rice and beans were tasteless. Not sure if it was an off night, but 3 out of the 4 meals were atrociously bad and the 4th meal was a cheese quesadilla. How can you you mess up a quesadilla? Sorry all, I would be careful here.
